Great spot mate. I've been after a cheaper alternative since QoS and never found one that cut the mustard. Congrats

Nice! A shame about the buttons though but guess they are pretty easy to change.

Just for your info I sized down, I'm a 39 chest and it's the small that fits me, already looking for some replacement buttons :)

Please do as I have the same dilemma...size 42 chest...so the pit to pit measurement of the medium would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi
Just checked and underarm to underarm measures 20.5 to 21 and that's with no stretch at all. My small measures 19 inches underarm to underarm and actually feel it would have been better if it only measured 18 inches I think it would have fitted even better as there is a lot of stretch in the material

BTW, what's the quality like ?

Im pretty fussy with my clothes but overall pretty happy, it's no Tom Ford but for the price, I had no grumbles, I saw someone recommended one from TK Maxx which I looked at but the wool was horrible and scratchy, where this is cotton and feels pretty nice too. For the price I really can't fault it!

I was hoping to get the sleeve length of the medium, shoulder to cuff. Also, shoulder seam to shoulder seam. I'm between sizes as well, but have somewhat longer arms. Thank you!

I'm in the same boat as Theundeadkennedy. Disproportionately longer arms. If you could post some sleeve measurements that would be fantastic.

I have sent the medium back now for an exchange for a small grey one! I can supply the sizes of the small now but don't have the medium anymore!

Cool thanks! Based off what I've read in the items description, I'm pretty sure I'll have to size up to the large. But hopefully your measurements will prove otherwise.

S arrived today, it is not as fitted as I would want.

No sizing up on this guys, if you're unsure pick the smaller.

My med has arrived. Fits me ok (200ish lbs, 5'10', 42" chest). Quality is ok, nothing special although quite smart and considering it's only 18 quid, there's not much to fall out with to be honest.

Anyway, some measurements for those guys looking at the medium. Sleeve length from shoulder seem is 28.5 inches, sleeve from pit is 20.5 inches. Shoulder seem to seem is 18 inches and pit to pit 20 inches.

In conclusion, you could spend more and not get much better but think I will look into more options.

As I have said before good value for money considering the price, I will post picks once I have changed the buttons. 18 plus 7 for real leather buttons and when's it looks worn I'll throw it in the bin!
I've been on a massive spending spree with Skyfall and just ordered my Tom Ford Suit so 18 quid for a cardigan is cheap cheap

Thanks for pulling those. I think the medium will work just fine.

Thinking of getting one of these myself, as the Tom Ford is out of my budget ... sadly :# & £18 is a steal really. I'm very broad in the shoulders, with a 47 inch chest (years of weights). I've seen from a couple of posts here that these are pretty generous in size - do you think a Large would be ok to give the fitted look?

As an aside, where did you source your alternative buttons from?

Many thanks for your help guys.
