Thank you, I had been wondering who made the shoulder holster since I first watched Skyfall.

Ehh I'm happy with it as an alternative. Looks similar minus a few minor details. Can't find any that look even close manufactured by major brands.

Price Western has made holsters for British government holsters in the past. However if the holster worn by the stuntman is the same as that worn by Craig, it is none of the above, said holster having the thumbstrap going below the PPK tang(an older design which
complicates getting a proper grip on the gun)rather than behind the hammer. Also, considering how much of the stuntman's PPK
is exposed,as though it had slid somewhat, the holster is a generic type, made for more than one gun: Walther PPK,PP,Sig P230,etc. The Kirkpatrick is a much better design for actual use than the prop holster, which is more suited for a Bond collection.
I'd still like to know what brand the movie holster is though....

    Regards,

    Tecolote

No one said they were but there alternatives and close to the pancake shoulder holster variant in the books.

Not very friendly on here are you

    Aw c'mon, big hug.

Problem is pal is people on here can (for the majority of the time) demand excellence. People don't mean to be rude, but I'm particularly cynical. You may be someone trying to help out, however as your first post is pointing us all at a website, perhaps you're connected to the firm concerned and are trying to drum up some trade? It wouldn't be the first time that's happened here.

Thanks for the effort, but us crazy collectors don't settle for anything less than the genuine article. :#

I am indeed surprised with all of our "connects" at EON that we have not as yet discovered the maker of this holster. I would snap one up in a heartbeat since I am somewhat of a holster fanatic.

Not connected with them. The genuine article will be really hard to get in the UK. The closest I came to the PPK is the co2 version. Which am looking for a descent holder for as my came from midway Uk and there was not much choice

Problem with Skyfall is we don't see Craig's holster fully, just him putting The PPk away under his Jacket

You may have a problem there. If you're talking about the Umarex CO2 PPKs, it's a good bit thicker than the real deal.
If it's a tight fitting holster the C02 won't fit. A real PPK/PPKs is *really* thin.

I know it's been a while since we've reviewed this topic...has anyone found new information on this holster. I agree with BlazenBlaze that the Kirk holster isn't the one...

Looking to pick one up for a wedding in August so have some time, but would like to find it and get it broken in. ;)

OK i am curious and i know we were all thinking it!

You are looking for a PPK holster for a wedding! - got to be honest not the first thing you think of when you mention Wedding.

Where is it Dodge City in the Wild West or are you marrying into the Mob?

God Bless America as Robin Williams once said you have the right to bare arms and the right to arm bears! B-)

It's OK I am only jealous only time I get to shoot these days is maybe 2 - 3 times a year thanks to the government cut backs! :))

I won't be carrying to the wedding, but had to throw a little curve ball into it to make it sound interesting. :)

Ah you have ruined it now had visions of you biking it across roof tops, fighting a baddy on the roof of a train then jumping of a bridge to the Altar with hers truly going 'Oh James' on your arrival! :007)

Or of course you might of realised Moneypenny reads your posts and had to reverse sticks and back out that one fast! :)) (or is that a pistol in your pocket or are you just pleased to see me?)

    Cheers

Maybe for my wedding I'll have to parachute in, but since I'm only attending hopefully I won't have to do any of that. I'll be sure to keep the P99 in the glovebox next to the defibrulator in case I get poisoned. :)

Too bad we only have a few images to help us identify the holster. If we had more than maybe we could eventualy figure out what model it is and who makes it.

Thank you, I have only been collecting James Bond merchandise since 1995 and I am still learning a lot about where to find certain items.

@Tecolote Thank You! I have been a James Bond fan since 1991, and I began collecting merchandise as a hobby in 1995 when Goldeneye came out in cinemas. I am still learning the ins and outs of collecting.
