    If I can give you kind of advise - your attitude won't help you much with Minigeff.

    Putting a bunch of $$ on the table and expect him running won't work.
    He'll do everything for his friends but not much only for the money.

    He's a knob and kind of stubborn - know what I mean? :v

    I also only just realised a) how hard they are to find and b) how few I have in stock.

    Sorry about that.

    Anyway Marcus he's far too busy working on your MR Camera. :D :D :D

    But in the interests of harmony have you tried something radical like Googling "Training EpiPens" and, anticipating a pithy comeback, this is how I sourced mine :v

    Yeah, I knew that harrassing him with that won't help much :D :D :D

    Wouldn't that be a bit too radical? :v

    Thanks for the kind advise , but not really helpful. I wasn't questioning his personality just confused as to why he would say yes and then say no. which he has since explained. and we don't have $$ here in Great Britain it's ££ just some kind advise back :D

    yeah i've looked on google I can find plenty of pictures but no sites that sell them. At least the type I want
  • minigeffminigeff EnglandPosts: 7,884MI6 Agent
    this is the type i got, but obviously you're after the training aid and not this live version;

    https://m.spservices.co.uk/item/POM_EpiPenJuniorAuto-Injector03mlsof015mgAdrenaline_102_69_2028_1.html

    If you read through this thread, you'll see that both GadgetMeister, Webber and myself ALL bought the WRONG 'old' version of the epipen.

    There's also many useful posts from others with how to's on modifying the 'wrong' old epipen.

    Chances of you finding a new old 'old' version is virtually nil as it's now a long obsolete piece of medical kit.

    Suck it up, make do and mend and move on mate. If I find more in the workshop I'll pm you. No holding breath though.

    I don't care if it's new or used, i'd take out the chemicals and needles for safety reasons either way. it's only for a prop

    I won't but thanks for the consideration :)

    jammy bar steward, i take my hat off to you -{

    Nothing jammy about it, when you've been doing this as long as we have you will learn that dogged determination and above all patience is something you need in spades. I've got EBay searches that have been going on daily for over half a decade and I diligently go through them on a daily business, which is why I have props in my collection that nobody else has and the same can be said for many other dedicated collectors. When I first started I was gifted a couple of gems of information from the great Ed Maggiani which allowed me to find and acquire said items. So I always try to give a helping hand to those starting out but don't expect it every time :v

    As far as the pics go then you have only got to read this thread for ALL the pics and info you require.

    I need an epi-pen, like now! Bloody Q Branch said my heart will stop unless I take the blue combi-pen, mid-neck, into the vein! And I'm hungry and I want to finish the poker game, too.

    I'm working on it!
    I believe my thread at the RPF was mentioned earlier in the string.
    I hope to have a lighted version out before SPECTRE (unless thwarted by enemy agents before then)

    Sorry David.247, haven`t checked in for a while. Looks like GM sorted you out though, I`m jealous you found them so easy GM :o
    Had lots of fun with these, got a load of help and they turned out pretty cool so if you have any questions will try and answer them. Ive just subscribed to the thread DOH. Still holding out hope that the other parts needed to finish the project will come to light one day. -{

    Not sure how far people ever got with this, apologies I’m fairly new to the forum but regarding the electronic syringe device that bond inserts into his wrist, this looks similar to an electric micro pipette that has been modified. Looks like people were looking at toothbrushes etc at the time but this may be a starting point. Again apologies for late contribution but had wondered if anyone had attempted this.
