Yeah sorry Jeff I was referring to the flat top Picatinny not the riser, as you say that is a very elusive one.
So what do we know:
Unknown M4/AR15 CQB SBR flat top frame & Barrel
Mako GL-Shock Recoil-Compensating Collapsible Stock - 100% confirmed on Mako's FB page
Unknown Free Floating Vented Aluminium Handguard - Poss custom but unlikely
Standard part bird cage Flash Hider - Incorrectly mounted
Unknown Picatinny scope rail riser
Poss Scope ID - Leatherwood ES1X30 - not convinced Elevation knob knurling too coarse
So after several of us have spent hours trawling, we're no further forward. I think roi007 deserves full credit for ID'ing the stock though, top marks {[]
thanks mate!

and gave me the Stock for free!
and of course after that he published it in his FB! http://www.facebook.com/FAB.Defense?fref=ts
I already looked at that one Jeff, it appears to be full length venting and not just the small portion at the front inside the fluting. Think we're still looking

Andy, the grip you'd want is the pistol length, not CAR. Perhaps the venting only goes half way or a portion in the pistol length tube to retain some strength in it? Just a thought.
I know you said about modding an airsoft, but I think you'll run into trouble trying to fit real gun parts to toy guns.
I'd be interested more in the sight tbh.
Makes my blood boil when an $8 flash hider is around £30 over here, an i'm not allowed to import the yank one, I guess threaded bits of metal must be more lethal than I thought....
What's even more annoying is gun prices. I'm saving for a sig522, $400 stateside, £790 here. Stupid stupid stupid.
Looks to be a picatinny 1.5" rail riser. Still unknown but not hard to fabricate.
Rifle;
AR-15 A3 upper, still unknown but not H&K based. Most likely 7.5" barrel. Possibly Aero Precision?
Forestock;
Model 1 Sales style free floating aluminium handguard, vented. I suspect this is either a cheap off the shelf or a custom made item. With the barrel being 7.5", nothing but a 'pistol length' grip will fit. The nominal length of the hand guard is around 4" (100mm).
Foresight;
Standard pattern A2 foresight with sling buckle.
Flash Hider;
Standard A2 bird cage. Be sure the slots do not feature all the way round the circumference.
Hope all that helps guys, good hunting the missing parts and figuring out the origins of the action.
Agree that it's a pistol handguard, but not a Model 1 Sales item, the fluting is the wrong length without even looking at the partial venting. Great spot on the sight Jeff, having poured over various Eve ref stills I can find no criteria that this sight doesn't fill. Am awaiting a reply to a couple of emails which may take a couple of weeks, I'm hoping we may get some answers.
Good stuff Andy, the sight has been 'confirmed' (someone else is thinking like me) on some airsoft forum. I found their comment while sourcing a sight.
To help you decide for yourself, here's the pic I was using;
As the cost is around £100 - £150, and it doesn't even magnify I think I'll not bother. It's real a CQB sight, not for any range shooting. I bet the whole train carriage was covered by the red dot when eve eyed up Patrice and Bond, no wonder she missed!
As for the handguard, get the specs out mate, I said Model1sales style. I only posted the pic of theirs to aid people searching for the right one, or planning on making their own.
Will be interesting to hear if you get any replies, keep me posted please -{
Considering its primarily a phone, my iPhone has many uses.
And thanks for the efforts with the sight. Must admit that it's quite satisfying when you've trawled through thousands of images and get a bullseye.
Like I say, I won't be getting one for any of my rifles, but it gets good reviews online. I should bloody think so too, £100 for a 1x red dot indeed... :v
Come to think of it, the barrel does look blued. The DPMS Panther Arms Kitty Kat certainly doesn't have a blued barrel, though. Rush job with some Cold Blue after cutting the barrel down and either dinging up the finish or starting out with a stainless barrel, maybe?
EDIT: As a bit of clarification, the bluing on the barrel doesn't really look like any AR I'm familiar with. Colt doesn't reflect light like that on their few match barrels they blued. The handful of DPMS blued barrels I've seen are also very, very dull. Smith & Wesson's bluing is MUCH darker and Bushmaster's is pretty weird/almost photographs as purple. I admit I've never seen Rock River Arms factory bluing and I do know they made at least one blued AR pistol barrel, BUT the bluing on this gun's barrel just doesn't look like what I'm accustomed to from RRA.
For anyone trying to track down the sight, i've found an alternative. it's not the exact type used in the film, but its a very close copy and it comes with some look-a-like mounts too, plus its about a third of the proper sight's price;

Dunno if it's the right one though...
Edit;
Just seen on the above page that there's a '$5 extra for vented' option, so it might be right after all...
The A2 bird cage flash hider can be bought from the same source;
