Yea was talking about Diamonds. I guess I should have added a "and also" between the sentences. Need a grammar refresher.

Son of the mask, so disappointed after watching Jim Carey The Mask.

Son of the mask, so disappointed after watching Jim Carey The Mask.

    The Mask?!

I can't stand Jim Carrey, in pretty much everything he's done he's just way too ott.

There's being a little eccentric, then there's being overly camp, there's then being annoying, terrible at acting and then overly excitable. Jim Carrey is all of these put together.

When you look at his films it's all crazy dress sense, or crazy acting or crazy script, yeah crazy crazy crazy, aren't you funny mr Carrey.

Take Ace Ventura, The Mask, Truman Show, Bruce Almighty, The Grinch, it's practically the same person in different outfits and makeup. It's tiresome, it's old all that over the top actions and line delivery, and it's right up the street of a 5 yr old.

The guy has no style, no wit, no humour past that of primary school fart jokes, he has the acting skills of a barboury ape on acid, I've not seen him do one convincing scene, then when it's the 'this is the morale of the story, kids' part (it's goooood) no it really ain't goooood Mr Carrey and I really wish someone would stop you.

Jim Carrey is what happens when those nutcases at the start of 'talent' shows get through to the final. Ya know them mentalists who you watch and think 'god it's just cruel putting them on just to laugh at them, didn't anyone in there family tell them they had no talent?' well Jim Carrey is the personification of all those hopeless bellends rolled into one and given the big time on a plate.

You can imagine a casting session.

"Your girlfriend has just left you, you're heartbroken, can you show us that please?"

    "Can I be goofy?"

    "No"

    "Was my girlfriend goofy?"

    "No"

"Can I be real sad, then have an episode and go goofy?"

    "No"

"I could act goofy then realise its serious and then deal with it in a goofy manner"

"That what you did in Bruce almighty, it sucked"

"I can do a sad kinda goofy though".....

Jim Carrey is not funny, he's not witty and his films suck balls.

    Rant over.

Quantum of Solace is a film about a guy called Dominic Greene who hijacks some of the water supply in a third world country for a small profit. That is not James Bond. James Bond is about villains with weird or exotic names and strange deformities plotting to take over the world, or kill a whole bunch of people, or something like that. Moonraker is not a great James Bond film because it is too sci-fi, but it's an OK film. The only good thing about QoS is it made me look back more charitably on Die Another Day (yeah that's right, I said it!) which I criticised at the time for being too unrealistic, but now I realise that too unrealistic is far far better than too "realistic".

tl;dr - QoS is boring: whacky fantasy is better than "gritty realism"!

White Noise with Michael Keaton. Complete & utter garbage (and that's being kind).

I'd also add the Spice Girls movie to the mix. Shameful.

I'm gonna get shot for this.

I'm not saying its a terrible film, but without Heath Ledger, The Dark Knight woulda sucked **** through a straw.

I was expecting quite the opposite tbh, I just thought that gruff voice and daft characters like the mayor were total crap.

Ya can't deny that the joker was the centrepiece of an otherwise mediocre cast?

Eyes wide Shut, so disappointing for Kubriks last film
Transformers 3 , No characters , did not have a clue as to what was going on, too many baddies
    Any Home alone movie
    Pearl Harbour, Complete drivel
Godfather 3, Godfather 1 is possibly my favourite film of all time and to complete the trilogy with this weak plot was a crime of Mafia proportions

Mini G Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou! I AGREE! I have been waiting years for someone to say that! Worst part is they repeated all the same damned blunders in The Dark Knight Rises! - "Talk around through the gimp mask Mr Hardy?!" Poor man! Anne Hathaway was the solo saving grace there as Catwoman.

    My distaste list...

    * Edit. (See below)
    Star Trek Nemesis
Adding to the Adam Sandler and Jim Carey hit list: - Anything with Will Ferrell in it, except The Producers.
    Both Matrix Sequels
    Both Fantastic 4 films
    Batman and Robin
Indy Jones and the Crystal Skull - Ludicrously bad writing. Would have been better to end with Last Crusade
Clash of the Titans - (2010 version) & Wrath of the Titans. 1980 version was far better in all regards.

    My ultimate blood curdling, HATE:
Thunderbirds (2004) A complete B******isation of a classic tv series that deserved more!

    * Update: I have removed QoS, as I found I can enjoy it using slow play at 1/2 to 1/6 speed on my DVD player. Not great, but improves the film greatly now I can see it. I still find CR-67 hilarious!
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?

The Brady Bunch movie from 1995, it had a dumb premise, terrible jokes, and I cannot believe the Brady's were still acting like it was the 1970's in the present day! I really wanted to leave the cinema, but since I had paid to watch it I would have felt bad in doing so.

Why the hell would you go in expecting something else? 10 dlls is better than losing 2 hours of your time watching stupid crap like that...

It's a great film...and it was (at least) six directors B-)

For some reason not all of them wanted a credit mention ;)

You've got to be joking, Sir Miles!?

Plus, what's another director between friends - who's countin'? :))

I agree 1000%! The absolute worst film I have ever seen. It was touted as a comedy, and if I say I laughed twice I'm being generous. (I believe both laughs were courtesy of Woody Allen). That film is an absolute abomination! (Sorry Sir Miles!)

The Look of Love is great, and the theme song catchy, but the rest of the score is just awful, sort of would-be humorous and groovy, but actually really square. CR would be fun but the first 45 minutes with a stuttering David Niven are incredibly naff and puts one off.
