A very BOND new years eve (photos inside)

Hey guys,

As some of you may have seen in the clothing section I was on an extensive search to come as close as I could to the midnight blue tuxedo from Skyfall without spending loads on a Tom Ford.

Below are some photos of the final result as well as a taste of our James Bond themed NYE party this year. I will update this thread with the professional photos as I get them, but for now the cell phones will have to do.

Best,

- James

First, a side by side comparison:

Excellent jacket, but you didn't quite get the attention to detail: Craig wore mother of pearl shirt studs! But that isn't to say you don't look fantastic!

Great Job buddy, you really summed up what I believe this whole thing is about for a small amount. I feel when i read some of the topics and posts that many of the member here want to be Bond, that is what the collecting is all about. For me it is more to live moments like him, to maybe look the part, be in the setting and for that moment feel like your living life to the fullest which is what Bond does. Judging by your photos, you acomplished that mission. Glad to see it was a succcess and that you had a great new years! Alpha

    Ha!

Thanks gents, I did notice the button discrepancy but it was too late to rectify it so I had to go with the black.

I appreciate the kind words, it took considerable effort to actually find this tuxedo and get it sent to my house for the event, so I wanted to share it with a group whom I know would appreciate it. I'll be posting more photos on my Facebook page (in my sig) as I get them, but here are a couple of more quick ones to get an idea for the event and its decor:

Thanks! The designer is G. Alexander. They are difficult to find so I'd suggest contacting Cliff, the owner of www.CarditaFormalWear.com and telling him James from Boston with the Maxwell tuxedo referred you. He'll take care of you!
