Differences between Tuxes, pic inside and questions

If you look at Ralph Fienne's tux, his is a different shade midnight blue. The Skyfall tux is lighter than that.
What throws me off is the tux DC wears. Its definitely not the skyfall version, and he mixes it with black trousers. Very ballsy and although not appropriate protocol, I dig the look. The jacket is also very heavily textured, which I think detracts from the luxurious look of wearing a tux.
That's also the same jacket he wore to the Royal Albert premiere (damn what a blast that was)
Thoughts?

The jacket Daniel Craig is wearing is closer to tux / smoking jacket style. Ie a jacket of one pattern that is matched with standard dress trousers. Ben Whishaw is doing the same thing with his black velvet jacket, though that is far more traditional. There are a sharp contrast to the Skyfall dinner suit, which (like Mr Fiennes above) is a complete dinner suit, just in a different shade. - In both the film and at the premiere's Mr Craig's wardrobe is more fashion statement than classic style.
The guys who have been wearing the Skyfall style for real though won't date in look, because the cut and fit of their suits is not two sizes too small for them, unlike in the film!
(Takes hat off)
Personally I think Mr Fiennes is just squeezing a cheeky moment!
Thanks Tbird2, I do agree with your observations. Personally I would love to know who made Mr Fienne's tux, I like the hue of blue a bit better than the SF
Good observation Matt. Looks like it might be a Brioni, they love strong shoulders, reminds me of Brosnan.
I think Craig sometimes should show up half naked if he wants to show off the muscles, no necessity to disservice the clothing.
Here is Mr Craig at an awards do in November, - subtle, classic and effective! http://uk.imdb.com/media/rm1935257344/nm0185819 Ok the jacket is still a snug fit to his frame, but its a distinct improvement over the Premiere one.
I'd say fashionable, not stylish.
I wholeheartedly agree. a Dinner jacket is not a blazer. Mix and matching evening wear into trendy outfits does not dress up the outfit, it only degrades the status of the evening wear item.
A midnight blue dinner jacket should always be worn with matching midnight blue trousers. It's impossible to find matching cloth. All parts of a suit need to come from the same dye lot. Differences can especially be apparent in darker clothes, most notably black. And if going with another cloth from a different mill the weave may be different, and the weight surely won't be the same.
Daniel Craig's blue dinner jacket with the black is done kind of in the same vein as the blue velvet dinner jacket in Diamonds Are Foever, yet it lacks the elegance of Connery's.
damn, thats the hue of blue I love. More details please
Looking good
A bespoke suit wouldn't have a tag on it, nor would it need alterations.
duh, need to zoom in. Saw the TF tag...
