the Auto Show is from March 23rd-27th. I will give you a hint on what city. One of the bond cars was in my city for 13 years, from 1969-1982. The same car is now at the Louwman Museum.

If your going to do something, do it right. Thank you.
Exactly. I am guessing that this machine will not only look right but - more importantly - drive right. You should be proud of yourself.
Thank you, yes it's been a big project. Most people don't realize. Just making the body is a very small part to a massive undertaking. Unless you want to build a turd. Thanks for the kind words, I will more pictures up this week
It's not the right shape good luck building that kit £8500 is a lot for that shell need close ups of all the door shuts and gaps and the fact the windshield is to big by the looks of it , would be easy for me to build using Aston parts as we restore DB4s and DB5s DB5007 is on point the lines are perfect When you put the shell on a chassis and get parts on it then maybe you will sell some Jag ? I say build the kit before you sell it
Your exactly right, how can you sell something that hasn't been built? More time goes into detail, and making things work. It's great to sell a car body, maybe for a display, but to make a car is a different story. That's why they are called protypes. The hood curve is way off, the windshield cowel is going up, door pockets are wrong. And no inner support for the hood, trunk? 1/4ers are off. Headlight area is to bubbley. No front scoop. Or gas pockets. I could go on, but it's bodies like these that give the "replica car" industry a bad name. Lots of money and effort went into a car, that's unbuilable for most back yard mechanics. I don't even see a jig holding the body square? Ever seen a body come from a mold with no jig? Good luck with his efforts. Most replicas never get finished. Have to see one built.
Really, the interior is the easy part. I have already made the dash and gauge bezel. The rest is easy, I will post more pictures this week. I'm just trying to make it true as possible, there are lots of differences. But most people wouldn't notice them
Well it won't be hard to make it drive Better then the original car, because all I've heard is, it rides like crap, haha. A car like this, should look and drive authentic. Why have a supercharged V8 in a DB5? The issue with most replicas, is they are based from high end or exotic cars. So the look the part, but don't sound or perform like any of the originals. So it's good for parking at Starbucks
Yes DB5 parts second hand like lights and grill but then your already up to 20k just for bumpers, lights, grill badges if your on a budget maybe look at the old rover P5 bumpers as something that looks slightly similar , as for interior yes that's the easy part you will use jag parts and custom parts to get looking right , as for DB to fit Ford capri it was the 1977 v8 vantage body's that was for the capri I've only ever seen one good one with a real Aston interior, and all the body was cut about to get it to the right shape but still a capri
We are at 7 times over a 20k budget. The rear window, a used grill, if you can find one, and some door frames, also, if you can find them. Is 10k, all the badging is $2500. Projects ad up fast, it's all the small things and materials, those ad up fast.
