Literary James Bond Main page Articles for the 60th Anniversary?

This thread is aimed at the moderators and administrators of AJB. I was wondering if any of you are planning on having a series of articles written on the 60th Anniversary of the James Bond novels, at all? They would of course appear on the Articles Main Page.

As (self-appointed) resident director of the Literary James Bond forums on AJB, I'd really like to spearhead the writing of a series of articles to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Casino Royale in April 1953. Other Bond sites like CBn have plans for this, so I think we need to come up with plans for this too, or risk being left out in the dark on this one. I know full well that the Literary Bond forums are of a specialist nature on AJB but I think we can attract new members by the writing of new material. I have a number of ideas for articles that might very well be suitable...

I've been a member here since 14 January 2003, and I really want to give something back rto the best James Bond forum in the world.

What do moderators, administrators and ordinary members here on AJB think?

Let's brainstorm in this thread.

    Unless you get hold of Si...nothing will happen I'm afraid...only Si can alter/add content to the site in the way you want....

    Contact me via PM if you wish and we can discuss it further -{

    So you mean that no needed adjustments, new articles or promotions can happen until the Great God SiCo rises from dead. The only thing is that it's almost a year, not three days.

    I'm afraid that's correct...only Si has this ability....Mods can only keep the site ticking over...as I've said before...he is on Facebook...the more people try him there, the more chance you have...I'm sorry I can't help more.

    Self-appointed - though I'd like to help the Literary section out in all seriousness. :)

    I'm afraid so...but don't let that stop you trying to drum up interest or from writing articles that can be used here -{

    Sir Miles is saying that posting articles here, on the Lit forum is the way to go. I'll read them and I'm sure others will.
    Something weekly would be nice, every week post an article and leave room to discuss it. I'll make an effort in reading them, like Chrisno1 and his reviews, they might bring people over from other sections of AJB.
    In the mean time Ive written a review of From Russia with love and it would be nice to get some feedback from that.

    No, of course not. I'll probably do something for my 10 years on here and for 60th Anniversary!
