The gloves do go high up past your watch but they are not tight on the wrist. They also have a split on the underside of the wrist that gives more movement.

GMan, I am in the uk and when I ordered my gloves online they came in a red box. Are you overseas? Maybe shipping is cheaper without the box.

I just got mine, I really like them, very comfortable, they came in a red box too
James Bond: I tend to notice little things like that - whether a girl is a blonde or a brunette...
Tiffany Case: And which do you prefer?
James Bond: Well, as long as the collars and cuffs match...

I'm in the US. Maybe it is cheaper to send without box? Mine came in a plastic sleeve with DENTS on it and a size L sticker. And the gloves were attached together with red string and a Dents cardboard label. I ordered directly from Dents and they arrived in a padded envelope.

And again, these gloves do not cause any problems while wearing your watch. :))

I would also like to add they are surprising warm.

For those in the US, what did you have to pay for import/customs fees?

I'm not in the US, but I'm pretty sure Canada has some of the worst import duties in the world for some stupid reason, and I paid absolutely nothing when my gloves arrived earlier this year. In fact now that I think about it, I've never paid duties on anything shipped via Royal Air Mail.
