Hi guys! I'm an artist in Chicago, and I've been working on a big print for Bottleneck Gallery's 'Gizmos and Gadgets' show in Brooklyn! I have a bunch of friends that are huge Bond fans like myself, but I wanted to reach out the awesome community here since you might enjoy the print a bit more than general art collectors.
I illustrated a 12x36" (31x92cm) 2 color screen print of Bond's DB5. Dual machine guns firing, tire shredders and smoke screen deployed, blasting through the woods. I was obviously drawing a lot from the vehicle's debut appearance in Goldfinger, so the background / highlights are in metallic gold. It's going to look soooo cool in person, and I'm excited to finally get to show this piece.
You can check out a bit of a write-up on my blog about it: http://fringefocus.com/2013/design/poster-007-db5
Prints go up for sale on Saturday the 19th at noon EST (so in the evening for Europe). They'll be available online at http://www.bottleneckgallery.com/
I believe Mark Englert did a 'Skyfall' print for the last show. So we're both pretty huge fans, and I love getting to work on projects like this!

Hi
Will they be on board or paper for rolling up and shipping as I am in he uk
Ross
They will be rolled into heavy duty tubes and can be shipped anywhere in the world! I send posters to the UK all the time, no problem. The tubes ensure the print arrives in mint or near mint condition, no bent corners, etc. Ready to frame (once you flatten it out with some books for a day or so).
Thanks
Ross
They are numbered by hand in pencil (limited edition, so 1/180, 2/180, 3/180 etc.). They have my logo instead of signature, but are still numbered by hand / are authentic. Blacktop French Paper with white / gold ink. Pretty cool up close! There's also a tiny hint of James Bond's sleeve driving the car.
