Just one more thing: the product code is unfortunately useless, as it's different in every country (for instance the Classic White shirt, which I'm proud to be an owner of, had a completely different code on the tag compared to the one provided in the on-line store.

The product code is in every country the same.
But change in every season, so you`re right about the fact that an season 11 code is useless.
BTW they have done the black tie since 2007, so they will reproduce it, it`s every year the same.

So that's the problem! You're right, Nico told me that my shirt is probably from the 11' season, hence the wrong code... Anyway, the tie will be back in summer probably?

Definetly, it's a Basic item that's in the cos range every year.
So dont pay the ridiculous eBay prices.

I know this is an old thread, but I need some clarification regarding the COS tie. I seem to found the screen accurate one, but I'm not 100% sure so I just want to confirm whether the product code is correct basing on the following picture. Many thanks for any help.

My tag is totally different and my product code is 977930 (this is on the sticker on the tie packaging and also the repeated on the small black tag inside the tie (made in Italy)

Woven Silk Tie
0111577001000 977930
14905 Nosize 09 Black

Now I'm not 100% sure if this is the SA tie, I got this when somebody here bought a load of them. I believe the code changes per season and this tie was in the collection for a few years

It could be it - its very hard to tell with this tie as it is simply black squares. So comparing two black square ties seems awkward.

I have my tie in front of me comparing with yours and I really can't tell either way ?:)

I'm afraid the tag and the number can't help you further, because COS changed the numbers at each new edition.
Your tie is quite similar or identical to that one of 2012. Maybe the pattern is slightly larger, but this is very hard to judge on the base of photos.

For comparison here again the version of 2012.
