unconcious Bond moment

Iordered a coffee (Turkish of course) in a cafe in Fetiyah
and without thinking asked for it medium sweet as in from Russia with love
have you had your Bond moment ?

Sometimes when I am asked my name I say it the way Bond does (i.e. "Smith, John Smith")

Whenever I dress up for a formal event I look at the bathroom mirror like DC Bond does in CR.

I check for bugs anytime I enter a hotel room and then call the lady at the front desk to get me a new one.

In my younger years, I used to smoke a good brand of British cigarettes which had a gold ring or two. I actually carried them in a cigarette case with matching lighter (completely different makers, though). They weren't gun metal grey or black. (I grew up watching 1930s, 1940s films, so I effected a lot of Depression and wartime styles. Even dressed in shirt and tie on weekends and listed to Swing, Big Band, Jazz.)

My dress shirts are all still mostly imported.

In a swanky bar, when it's inappropriate to order lager, I've ordered a Dry Martini. And for work suites I wear a top pocket hankie folded ''lawn' style like Connery and Craig... In addition to trying to dress like Bond, get my hair cut like Bond... Sad.

I never drink Saki unless it is served at the correct temperature 98.4 degrees Fahrenheit.

Historically, it was the low-grade sake that's heated, it hides the crude quality/flavour. Really good sake is served chilled. I'm partial to the unfiltered varieties.

But ... I recall have some high grade sake once that was properly heated, and it was like drinking warm water. Until I tried to stand up.

Lately I've been drinking Dark & Stormy's, made with Kraken black rum and Fever Tree ginger beer. Maybe not a "Bondish" drink, but very smooth with a pleasant kick in the tongue.

Well it sounds like the kind of thing Fleming would have loved and Bond would definitely try!
