I've recently been in touch with Converse, how many would be interested if they did a small reissue or an AJB edition of the Jack Purcell OTR Mid Chocolate/ Paprika?

An AJB edition being the same as original but one eyelet a different color, some small difference

    Definetly

So just the eyelets would be diff???

The eyelet was just an example, but there would more than likely have to be a small difference in the shoe so it can be differentiated from the original

Ah ok. So we cannot have it exact due to Converse rules?

I'm in for one! Depends on the price naturally.

Price would be around the cost of their custom shoes between $80 and $150, more than likely the higher end.

Not entirely sure yet, when asked how many would be interested I said, it really depends on the details, cost and changes

If you're going to manufacture a difference, replace the orange in the shoe front/back with brown or black as the production seemed to.

That's not a bad idea either, production covered the orange smile with black

    This is a great idea!!

Would much rather they reissue the shoe in its original form, no changes.

I would prefer this or change the colour of the orange sole tab to black as suggested by member above

And I think the orange looks great and is easy to alter. That's how it was originally, why change it?

Thank you for the SKU! I agree, why change it, but it's up to converse if they want to rerelease, do a small run, make an alternative, etc for us

They seem on board, they keep asking questions regarding the shoe

I have tried 4 times to get a re-issue and they have refused every time and joust keep getting told, we don't make them any more but look at our other products.

I've been emailing them back and forth, told them we had quite a few members that would be interested in either a reissue or a custom shoe. The representative emailed me back requesting the SKU number for what we wanted

I heard back from the sales rep, she said that they can't do a custom run for us but to keep an eye out for the options we want to show up in the Create area over the next few months. I've requested a supervisors email address rather than just a sales rep to see if we can make this happen.
