I should have asked this earlier, but what have you been paying for the jacket as far as duties/taxes?
As most here, I bought mine from the U.K and will be delivered DHL.
Called DHL to ask and they went on a rant asking what the jacket was made of, so I said mostly cotton and other small stuff like horn buttons.
The woman on the other end of the line then said it can go anywhere from 10% to 60% declared value, with a minimum of $50 USD and DHL fees of 4.5% with a minimum of $20 USD.
Can people here chime in please?
Thanks

Wow, thats an awesome price, which I would have gotten in on the goodstead deal. I canceled mine from nigel clare, no way I was paying 80 Dlls in fees to DHL.
I believe I was NOT charged any duty when I ordered straps from a UK seller (sent Royal Mail Int'l), almost as much cost in fact. I think it's hit or miss, but that could be my ignorance.
[1] Wait. Isn't that where the De Bleauchamp family archives are?

"Tax-free shopping for customers outside of Europe" but I guess this means the VAT right?
Does anyone know what carrier they use?
