Sitting on the DLR going into London ,thinking to myself
wich Bond item should i buy next ,thinking of all the usual names
but who knows where Bond buys his socks and pants (boxers ) ect from
i mean does he go to Marks,like the rest of us?

Sunspel claims to have provided the underwear for Daniel Craig in Casino Royale, but they may have been referring to the crew neck t-shirts he is seen in, which they definitely did provide in addition to the Riviera Polo shirts.

Sunspel makes some great Egyptian cotton shirts, boxers, sleeveless mesh undershirts. Didn't realize I had that in common until watching CR 3 weeks ago and seeing the name in the end credits. -{ :v

Though never specified, it's not a stretch to believe that the literary Bond (and probably Fleming himself) got their undergear from Turnbull & Asser. Though at present they only sell the pants as "Sea Island quality" as opposed to the real Sea Island cotton, I believe they did sell the real thing when Fleming was alive. If your referring to Craig as the current film Bond, there's no reason why he wouldn't shop there as well, though as stated before, he wears the Sunspel products in the films.

There are two references to Bond's underwear in the novels.

In Diamonds Are Forever, chapter 6, it mention that Bond had packed "some nylon underclothes" (! Well it was the late 50s) on his journey to the US.

In The Man With The Golden Gun, chapter 7, Bond has graduated to wearing "a fresh pair of Sea Island cotton underpants" in Jamaica... So Cmdr Attics gets the prize.

That's probably as much as we need ( or wish) to know about Bond's underwear... I'm still traumatised over the whole nylon thing...

I believe the fictional Bond wore Sea Island nightshirts, a habit he recalled picking up during a posting in the Orient or Tropics somewhere. Or a road show production of "The Night Before Christmas" maybe.....

Read DAF carefully. Bond packed nylon underwear because he was prepping to impersonate a smuggler. He knew they would be checking his
suitcase. One could not buy high quality Sea Island cotton undergarments
like Bond usually wore just anywhere, where as just the average nylon type one could. It might be nitpicking, but Bond was always good with details. His suits and evening wear he packed would not be questioned, but when inspecting someone's personal effects, it's usually the more personal items that gave one away (brands of toiletries, things one carries in their pockets - even jewelry).
