Least Watched Bond

What is your least watched James Bond film? and why (excluding)

Mines is OHMSS and this is only down to the fact that it almost need to prepare myself before watching this film each time because I know it is a very long, extremely story driven which at times feels entirely different from any other films in the franchise. I usually set myself up for watching it and then stick on a simpler Connery or Moore Bond instead.
....and the best he ever managed was a sermon on the mount.

Aside from CR, which I have not seen at all:

GF - I'm in the minority here, as I think this is rather overrated. Didn't really like it much the first time I saw it; I think its a so-so Bond film now.

OHMSS - although I think this is pretty good, its the length which does put me off frequent viewings. Also, I feel its one of those rare Bond films you only need to watch occasionally.

TMWTGG - its near my bottom Bond list, simply put.

AVTAK - what can I say that just about everyone else here hasn't already said? I watched it recently and it is definitely THE worst Bond film ever. :(|) ?:)

TLD - I love this one, but I'd rather see it between long periods to savour its entertainment value.

QOS and SF - a big meh. I watched these only to see what Craig was on about; neither did much for me and I'm in no hurry to see them again.

Die Another Day. I've seen it twice. I watched it once when it was released in the cinemas in 2002, and once again last year when it was played on television. I have no intention of watching it again unless I have nothing better to do.

I've also only seen Skyfall twice, both times in the cinema within two weeks of its release in Australia. I wouldn't hesitate to see Skyfall again.

Diamonds Are Forever because of how little enjoyment I get out of watching it. Even if it's been ages and ages and my brain is saying 'Come on! Watch it, there's a few good bits!', after half an hour I remember how unexciting it is. The 'big finale' on the Oil Rig is just hideous. Others would be YOLT and MR.

    Thunderball

I've just never gained a big interest in this film. I've seen it four or five times.

    Quantum of Solace

By far my least favorite film. I've only seen it three times. I keep telling myself that it'll be better the next time around, but I constantly disappoint myself.

LTK, though I quite liked it at the time.

But it has no moments of joy or escapism, poor cinematography, it's just routine and I can't ignore that just cos it's Bond. I like to have a big lovely action scene to look forward to at some point in the first 20 mins, and this film doesn't have that. The narrative is good and clear, but as eye candy it's poor.

Well the obvious answer is Quantum of Solace and Skyfall because I don't own them on DVD yet.

Out of the first 20 films I would probably say YOLT, TMWTGG, and LTK.

Any of the Roger movies with the exception of LALD. I just have never been able to find James Bond in his performances, although as a person he seems very likeable and charming.

I've only seen DAD about 4 times the whole way through...I've seen bits of it on about 3 other occasions...not in any real hurry to dig it out again though...

Apart from SF, CR, and QOS (As they're obviously newer), for a wild guess I would say Moonraker... but that's just a guess, it could be completely wrong. But I rarely ever put MR on unless I'm watching all the bond films over the course of days/weeks..

Well if we include Casino Royale 1967 then this would be my least watched.

If we're counting CR '67 and NSNA then they are both my joint least.... once each.

But if we're counting CR '54 then it'd be that - never seen it all the way through. I saw bits, but it was just not for me.

Aside from CR, which I have not seen at all:.

I just saw CR for the first time a few weeks ago and let me tell you it is a must watch for any Bond fan. Best movie of the whole series in my opinion.

Over the years, I have seen bits and pieces of Casino Royale 1967, never felt inspired to watch any more than that. Have only seen Never Say Never Again twice in full, once in the cinema at the time of its release, and then once at home on TV about ten years later. As for Casino Royale 1954, that would be my least watched because I have only seen a short clip.

Of the official films, DAD, hands-down.

But if we include unofficial films, a tie between CR'54 and CR'67. One full time each. CR'67 "wins" in that I tried watching it again but found it totally unwatchable.
By the way, are you gonna eat that?

I would offer QOS, only it would be untrue as I have watched it time and time again desperately trying to see good in it, or understand what others see in it, with very little success I'm afraid.

I've actually watched QoS MANY times for the same reason. But, since we're only counting quantity and not quality, well...

I've only been a Bond fan since I saw Skyfall in December so I have still not seen Octopussy, A View to a Kill and Licence to Kill. The rest I have only seen once except for GoldenEye which I've seen about 15 times.
