    Plus propstore are a rip off, only item I bought was the Gods from Gladiator because It was my favourite scene

    If you think you have purchased something from Propstore which is questionable? then contact them as they have a money back guarantee on authenticity. Stephen and Tim started off as collectors and indeed still are so yes they buy at auction & yes they'll bid against you & yes you'll probably lose in a bidding war but the major studios themselves consign to Propstore because of their reputation, such as their current Judge Dredd auction which is an amazing coup which to me as a collector would suggest that they or an established dealer such as ScreenUsed would be the safest route to take for that elusive collectible from your favourite movie or pre-Casino Royale for a major Bond prop or production piece when crew gifts were a plenty. Your only other option is the major auction houses with a 25% on top of hammer price buyers premium...ouch!
