Its something im unlikely to wear hence I've decided if im not wearing it then it needs to go (I rarely even wear a tie )

Its beautiful, I have not worn it and it comes in the Tom Ford Box.

Its currently at my US addy.

Want what I paid for it ($900). First person to pay gets it!

I think $900 is pretty good. It was on ebay for $1300 a little while ago.

The QOS stuff is great; it's like they're investment pieces. Now I know what people who bought Apple stock when it was $2 feel like.

Ugh dont get me started.... I owed tons of apple stock back in 1997, I purchased each share for like 8 bucks. Of course this was in the most tumultuous period of the company, and at one point was almost bankrupt....

Fast foward to 2012...

IMO, there's no scarf that's an investment at $900, even if some of them cost $1300.

I disagree; if it's a collectors item, it's worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it.

It was over-priced then too, IMO. Of course, the price of anything is whatever people are willing to pay for it. I think that "collector's item" gets thrown around too frequently, but for the guy who's willing to throw $900 at it, indulge.

Anyone who fails to understand that some people will pay TF prices and live the luxury lifestyle are probably in the wrong area of fandom being James Bond and Daniel Craig fans.

Neither shop at Primark, travel by buget airlines or live in cheap accommodation. And long may that continue.

I think there a number of different bond collector, some who will pay this kind of money some who won't, I'm one who will and think that this is a stunning scarf and if I had not just bought one about a month back I would of snapped it up, I've bought from welsh it in the past and his stuff is mint and properly taken care of so whoever buys it will get a top notch item!

The pockets look a bit too slanted to my eye, whereas on the photos with Craigy wearing the coat, they seem to be straight....? Or is it just me?

Yes, that's the right one that was available for sale.

I'm still convinced that the one from the movie had the lapels rolled down to the second button though. And it's possibly a bit shorter in length.

No the same guy was selling a set but they were gold coloured Sterling silver. Not paying a small fortune if they are not the gold ones, a set of 18k ones sold for 1300 dollars in december on eBay, so will just keep an eye out
