Well, you have your part of play in the process of making the prop and an important part at that. Without someone like yourself these projects would never get off the ground so to my mind that's the most important role of all.
I remember you saying you worked at Eon at one stage. Did you get to use any of your practical skills there?
"The tough man of the world. The Secret Agent. The man who was only a silhouette." - Ian Fleming, Moonraker (1955).
Yes, I had a lot to do with the process of the egg, not really through interest but I saw Higgy struggling with the other two eggs and being very busy, I offered to take on the project, I enjoy that process and have learned a lot and met talented people.
I worked there for ten years with a slightly different skill set :D

Well, that's great that you stepped up to help. The egg certainly looks very good. I wish you both all the best with the project.
That's great too that you were at Eon for ten years. I'm sure you have many interesting stories to tell about your time there! I imagine it's something of a dream job for a Bond fan!

I'm sure you have lots of reference already as it looks so accurate, but just in case, there are some nice hi res images on the auction page for the prop here:

Thank you for being so kind and thinking of the project, but yes I have reference of all angles even the bottom.
Its at the engravers right now then the plating to be done, fingers crossed that they dont drag their arse on the last two steps.
No worries, I thought you most probably would but seemed best to check as they're such good photos. I hope it's going well.
Even who's bottom? π
Certainly not Higgy's hairy arse π
Hey, I am shaving since the last time that you‘ve complained π
