Just completed watching all 23 official Bond entries and have compiled my Top 7 listings for Best Villains. Feel free to read here. Didn't expect it was going to happen, but the new villain ranks, well, pretty darn high.

Like I said, that movie is criminally underrated. I'll be doing my list ranking the Bond movies 1-23 tomorrow by the way. And on the blog, I've done entries for Top 7 Bond Girls and Top 7 theme songs. You can find them below:

Great list. Just curious, where would Emilio Largo fall? He's always been a favorite villain of mine.

I don't think there's any one on there that doesn't deserve the top 7 ranking. ditto ZorinIndustries on the Sanchez call. Davi is brilliant. Dalton is Brilliant. Together, they're unbeatable genius. "LTK" rocks my ass every time I see it, and It's the best in my book, Talisa Soto's questionable performance be damned.

Nick, honestly Largo was considered. He'd been in the Top Ten, probably along with Elektra (who I feel was a great character in TWINE) and Odd Job.

Nick, would encourage you to read all my blog posts on all 23 Bond films, which I just completed tonight after receiving the Bond 50 Blu Ray set for Christmas and buying Skyfall on Tuesday. Watched all 23 films in a month and a half and wrote posts on every one. Best time I've had since starting my movie blog

Aww, Dalton didn't wow you. Disappointing. Still, adequate is better than "Lazenby is cooler in the role than Timothy Dalton." :))

I know. Just needlin' ya. Connery definitely has the "It factor", and I fully agree the series wouldn't have lasted without him. He's my top two. Dalton edges him out simply because I like the raw emotion, the soiled and slightly damaged Bond he brings to the table. and the fact that I would literally be scared to be in the same room as his Bond, especially if he was pissed at me. He's a ruthless bastard in "LTK".

Actually, I don't think I'd want to be on the same planet as Dalton's Bond if he was pissed at me. Look what he did with a beaker of gas, two tanker trucks, Pam's help in a cropduster, and a lighter. He out MacGuyver's MacGuyver in the end of "LTK".

i would have loved to have seen where the series would have gone if Dalton had been permitted a third entry and more, no question. I think we saw the series going in the direction that Craig's films have entered into with Dalton. The Brosnan stuff got away from that. I will say that I enjoyed (to varying degrees) the first 3 Pierce movies until Die Another Day, which was just god awful

I really liked Goldeneye. I never really got into Tomorrow Never Dies. I enjoyed The World is not Enough, and I really enjoyed Die Another Day when I was younger. Then I watched it when I was older and wondered what the Hell I'd been smoking when I was younger. Brosnan's not my favorite Bond, but he deserved a better note to exit on.
