Ranking Bond: 1-23

After a month and a half watching all 23 Bond pictures from the Bond 50 Blu Ray set (completed with Skyfall purchase this week), I've compiled my final listings 23 to 1 from the very worst to the very best. Intresting ranking. In some ways it's pretty similar to my own personal list. However, I rank both Goldeneye and For Your Eyes Only considerably higher. And I am one of the view people who doesn't rank FRWL as highly as others. Still a great Bond movie though, it's definitely a flawless one. And I enjoyed reading the novell a lot. Lifting my oppinion on it as well. But still, there are just a lot more Bond movies I seem to enjoy more.

Here's my own personal ranking taken from the official ranking thread:

1. License to Kill
2. Skyfall (NOTE: Only watched it once, was very impressed by it, maybe more viewings will make it drop, as I could have been blinded by excitement.)
3. Goldeneye
4. Goldfinger
5. Casino Royale
6. The Spy Who Loved Me
7. For Your Eyes Only
8. You Only Live Twice
9. Thunderball
10. The World is Not Enough
11. Tomorrow Never Dies
12. Octopussy
13. The Man With The Golden Gun
14. The Living Daylights
15. From Russia with Love
16. Moonraker
17. Dr. No
18. A View To A Kill
19. Live and Let Die
20. On her Majesty's Secret Service
21. Die Another Day
22. Quantum of Solace
23. Diamonds are Forever

Was thinking the same thing tbh ... After all, it's not like there's no other threads with the film rankings in on here is there?!? 8-)

well, it's not that this is probably the 143rd ranking thread here.

If the op had the courtesy to AT LEAST post his 1-23 movies here and then forward anyone to his blog for further details, I would not say anything.

But luring people here with zero information - just throwing a bait and forward people to his page is simply pathetic.

And if you see his previous posts, this is done repeatedly and it will go on like that if noone says stop!

I'm just surprised there's people out there who have nothing better to do than complain about someone writing about the subject that this site is devoted to. Still, if it makes you happy...

Being honest, I was more narked at the fact that you couldn't be bothered using one of the many ranking type threads that are on here. It's clear to me thst you're simply pushing your blog, but hey ho I guess ...

and i do understand your point. i probably should have used another ranking thread, I just don't see the huge deal, honestly. I've actually gotten to other blog sites re: the movies from this site that I've found interesting and good reads. difference of opinion. nothing wrong with that.
