Just watched Skyfall again for 6th or 7th time, and I have noticed these 2 anomaly's before but forgot them but can anybody answer these 2 points
1. in the chase scene at the beginning we clearly see Moneypenny shoot Bond on the train, he gets shot at loads of times by Patrice, we don't actually see him get hit, or did I miss something ?
Later on he pulls out some metal fragments from the right side of his chest, that to give him a lead to patrice and then Silva, turn out to be shards from this expensive designer ammunition that Patrice is known to use, but I thought Moneypenny would be using standard issue ammo, and did not have the oppurtinity during the chase to borrow some of Patrice's ammo. So how did this fragment get into his chest ?
2. In the final battle I still fail to see where and when M gets hit, to be wounded enough to die when and where did she get shot

I think M gets hit when Bond rescues her and she says she has been a lowsy shot. I think she dies because of all the blood she loses walking through the Priest's hole and into the chapel
2. M drops her gun when she was attempting to shoot a guy so I think she is hit then but I've only watched it a couple of times so not completely sure about what exactly happens
2. When M is alone in the proximity of one of Silva's henchmen in the lodge, we see her attempt to shoot him, but she fumbles and is hit as she struggles for cover. We then see her check the wound shortly afterwards to hint at the viewers that a severe injury has occurred before she gets to the chapel.
Re qn 1)
You clearly see blood on bonds shirt as patrice shoots at him in the digger, which is where the shrapnel fragments which he later cuts out, come from.
As to eve's shot, you're not alone in wondering about this "plot hole"...
It was discussed on here
http://www.ajb007.co.uk/topic/39610/spoiler-skyfall-mistakes/page/3/
And theories are all over the web... Just google...
My own personal favorites are
1) eve's shot was a flesh wound, glancing blow to the lower right rig cage, consistent with his survival (stunned), the bloodstain in the lower chest area when in the water, and (together with falling off a bridge into water) the 3 broken ribs and slight organ damage he jokes to eve about.
2) or bond wears a Kevlar vest, which is consistent with survival, the broken ribs, lack of additional scars when shirtless, and the Patrice shrapnel wound on the upper shoulder which most Kevlar vests do not protect.
It's not so consistent with the extra bloodstains when in the water, and would probably show when his shirt is wet.
But until one of the writers explains the confusion, it certainly looks like a plot hole.
On qn2)
M shoots at a gunman and he shoots back, u see a shot hitting the bookcase she hides behind...And her checking the wound..
Clearly she is hit around the waist or hip, both fleshy areas which could bleed significantly.
She then exerts herself, walking what looks like over a mile, and over more than 30 minutes of "actual" time. She's quite old and carrying additional weight.
It's perfectly plausible that the loss of blood could put fatal strain on her heart.
BOND "SHOT" IN THE DIGGER
While Patrice shoots at the glass, one bullet ricochets off the side of the machine (or through the glass) and splinters fragments, a few of which hit Bond in the upper chest/shoulder. He is not "shot" but rather injured by the fragments which exploded on impact. This causes a bleeding wound on his chest/shoulder.
BOND SHOT ON THE TRAIN
Eve's bullet hits Bond in the lower abdomen on the right side. You can ONLY notice this after freeze framing and advancing frame by frame. JUST before Bond is thrown off the train by the impact, you can see Bond's preexisting wound caused by Patrice, and then GUNSHOT followed by a brief cloud of blood followed by a new wound on his abdomen. When Bond lands in the water before the PTS, you can now see a new blood spot on his stomach area.
This is reinforced later when he tells Eve it was only a rib and some non vital organs, nothing major, all the while circling his right lower abdomen area with his hand. This line is what made me look at his abdomen on the train, and he most certainly exhibits a wound there after the gunshot.
As far as the PTS, and why they chose the chest wound, rather than Eve's was a stylistic choice in my opinion. First, a wound in the heart is more interesting, and second, a wound borne of friendly fire is just not as cinematically dramatic. It certainly adds to the confusion.
I will say that Bond shows no real scars in the area later in the film, but I can almost make out one, particularly an exit wound on his back during the Eve scene. My guess is the bullet either grazed him, or completely passed him with no damage.
2) M'S WOUND
M was harmed by the bullet that grazed the wall she was hiding from before she drops the gun. A fragment either ricocheted off the wall, or the bullet hit her directly as it passed.
There are numerous reasons why she could die by a fragment hitting her abdomen. The bullet may have caused her enough bleeding to die of blood loss, or it could have hit vital organs such as her liver. The liver is very vascular and has a large amount of blood vessels in the area: a fragment striking the liver will kill someone fairly quickly without immediate medical attention.
