Skyfall Bluray/DVD content

Hi Guys,
My apologies if this has been covered already? or if I'm being thick? but today I purchased the triple play edition of Skyfall thinking it would be worth paying the extra to get the bonus Bluray features on DVD. It was a bit of a surprise to open the box and find one all singing and dancing Bluray disc and one reduced content DVD & PC disc. To me, if I do not have Bluray, the only justification in purchasing this a "TRIPLE PLAY" pack was to be able to access the additional features on my DVD and PC.
In short if you do not have Bluray, buy the DVD!
There is a final point here, if you have Bluray why on earth would you want to pay extra for a reduced content DVD? This burns me as much as a soundtrack CD which does not contain the title track

I originally posted this in the Skyfall Bluray thread however I've put this under collecting because I have since discovered that the reduced extra features you get on the single DVD are not included on the multiplay DVD. In short NO special features on the DVD/PC disc
BTW, the movie itself is as it was at the Crew Screening visually stunning. The sound is rich & in yer face. The classic one liners were like hearing them for the first time & I'm pretty certain there were variations in dialogue to the cinematic release.
I'm just a little miffed that I cannot view ANY of the special features until I either purchase the DVD release only or invest in a Bluray player!

Now seriously: For me the DVD is pretty important. As a Mac owner, I can't play Blu Rays on my computers and if I want to play SF on my iPad, I would have to buy it again on iTunes or use the DVD to get it converted into mp4 formatte.
The DVD will also be useful to produce screenshots for research purposes for props.
What you say about the soundtrack with the missing title song is spot on.
The additional cost does not bother me so much, but there is now 2 disks for every movie to put in the drawer....
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
And Bondtots, I doubt very much you will like the props in this movie anyway. There are no silly eggs, especially ones with ginormous coaches sitting within.

It's not often that you find something that the PC can do that the Mac can't, in fact for video editing and graphics work they can't be beaten, even thinking of getting one just for those purposes, but will still hold onto a desktop/laptop for going where the Mac just won't go.

I ripped my Bond blu ray box set on my Mac using MakeMKV and then used Handbrake to convert it into iTunes format at 1080P HD. Now I can stream Bond in HD around the house via my Apple TVs
You need a blu ray drive to do the ripping though! I chucked an internal one into my Mac Pro as I convert all my blu rays and stream them instead with multiple Apple TVs around house.
Make MKV beta and Handbrake are currently free!
) ) ) I knew, that I'll get such a constructive suggestion
Thanks guys, will now get a B-R drive for my Mac.

It took me a while but I did the exact same thing: MakeMKV -> Handbrake (AppleTV 3 setting) -> iFlicks (for tagging and artwork) -> iTunes. It's nice having them all available to stream or sync to my iPad.
In fact, I still need to buy an actual Blu-ray player for whenever someone comes over with a film and I don't want to wait to convert it.
