How James Bond picks up women

Okay so I saw this video.

and I'm curious to why James Bond is so good with the ladies. I know it's a movie but I feel like there are some lessons to be learn there. Does anybody have any ideas?

    The reason why Bond is so good with the ladies is the very reason why he's become such an iconic figure (and not just a merely popular character): because he's the ultimate ALPHA MALE.
    Alpha males are the dominant males in all animal species, and that goes for humans too. They're confident and successful. So, it's not so much that he knows how to seduce women (though he proved countless times that he's a smooth talker), it's more a question of women being irresistibly attracted to him because they instinctively recognize alpha male qualities. No one wants to be with a loser and Bond is the ultimate winner, it's really not more complicated than that.

    Well, one could argue that whatever the way it all started, it took a meaning of its own in today's societies. The so-called "PUA (pick-up artists) community" is using the term "alpha male" in the sense that I described. And isn't that really what matters for this question? Women are attracted to dominant figures. Whether you want to call them "alpha males" or "cocky bastards", the point is that Bond is one of them. ;)

    it certainly helps that he's extremely good looking (at least most of his interpretations).

    Actually, that would be a good way for the Bonds to reunite, voicing characters in a Disney film.

    The best way to look at it would be to look at Tracy and Vesper. They are the women bond truly 'gets'. The Alpha Male thing probably explains all the other women but these two it's different. In these situations Bond can't solely use his Alpha Male ego to bed these women and this clearly attracts Bond EVEN more to them! The further down the line the films go we see what Bond will actually do for these women and eventually see how hurt he is once they unfortunately perish. The way I see it Bond could probably have a one night stand with any woman he wants but he never really 'gets' them. The way Bond gets them is by doing completely riskly, selfless and irrational things to show them how he feels. Quite a romantic, aint he?

    To be fair though, I'd probably invade piz gloria for the sake of Tracy too. What a woman! :v :x

    Sorry to burst any bubbles out there but the "alpha male" theory is correct to a point... the big attraction is the perception of wealth. This, when coupled with "alpha male" characteristics, is the key.

    I dare anyone to NOT pick a lady while driving an Aston Martin Vanquish.

    Just take a look at MBA wive's to see what a good bank account will land you... regardless of looks, criminal record, poor behaviour, etc.

    All you need do is think about the commonly held beliefs of "what characteristics most women are attracted to".

    Confidence
    Style
    Looks
    Masculinity
    Affluence
    Success
    Protectiveness
    Seductiveness
    Worldliness

    Guess what. Bond is engineered around these things.

    Master these things and you too will score like Bond.

    You can have all the above mentioned qualities but still be boring as hell.
    Women are attracted to Bond because he reeks of a sense of adventure. He also has the "bad boy" persona which is required to match the kind of women he meets.
    Good luck "mastering" those things, though! That should keep us busy.
