I recommend watching them in double features spaced out a week at a time other wise mood will wreck everything. All the Bond Movies are good in their own way (I have exceptions but won't mention them due to hatred spewed towards me). That's the best way otherwise you get Sean Connery Fatigue then Roger Moore Fatigue than Pierce etc......
Loved reading everyone's stories of Bond Marathon's they've tried and accomplished.
Last year I did a Bond Marathon that lasted about a month in anticipation for Skyfall. I watched about 5 per week and during the viewings set up a rating system to rank the Bond films. It was interesting watching the movies specifically looking for different qualities and characteristics to rate. I definitely recommend it to a Bond fan in the month or two prior to Bond 24 or 25 being released.
Right now, my fiance and I have our own marathon going on right now. I don't want to inundate and overwhelm her, so we watch 2 Bond films per Month (sometimes only 1 depending on our schedules). Before we watch the film, we go to the store and get groceries to make a nice dinner together. Usually on Monday or Tuesday we look online for a new and interesting recipe to try out, then on Friday after work we get the groceries and prepare the meal and a dessert. We eat our food during the pre-title sequence and usually midway through the movie stop to serve dessert.
Our next movie is TSWLM. Her first Bond film was actually Skyfall. Then we watched CR and QoS to complete the Craig trilogy. Since then we've gone from DN through TMWTGG. It has been quite the fun experience to watch the movies with her and see how our rankings compete. She has unique tastes. We agree on many things and then disagree on others. Right now the biggest discrepancy is the ranking of OHMSS. It is in my top 5 or 6, while it ranks right near the bottom for her so far.
I don't know if anybody else found this but I got so tired of watching Roger Moore for 7 straight films. I'll probably mix up the order next time.
1: Casino Royale 2: Goldeneye 3: Skyfall 4: Octopussy 5: Goldfinger 6: Tomorrow Never Dies 7: The World Is Not Enough 8: The Living Daylights 9: From Russia With Love 10: The Spy Who Loved Me
