well, i mean it could be three of the Bond girl costumes and one of Bonds suits lol. I dont mind making the drive down there but I would like to know what im gonna see first. (If its the lodge outfit it would be worth the trip. The TF tux, well Iv seen so many TF tux's already).

true...kinda awkard though over the phone...if they are some of the highlights of the film (Lodge jacket, peacoat outfit) I would love to go down there and take pics and let other members see them.

I just went to check out the exhibit at FIDM this afternoon. Very impressive collection of costumes from this year's Oscar nominations, as well as a number of other films. My vote is on "Snow White & The Huntsman" for this year's winner. As for "Skyfall," they have Bond's TF Macau tuxedo and Severine's dress (and the Swarovski jewelry she wore), along with Silva's Lodge outfit and Eve's PTS outfit - the same 4 costumes featured in the "Skyfall" billboard advertisements for the promotion of the film.

Again, an impressive collection and very cool to see in person! For anyone in the Los Angeles area interested in going, it's worth a trip but note that no cameras or cellphones are allowed. So sadly, no pictures to post here.

    Kind regards,
    Craig

I visited this today... Echo craigs comments completely..

You can get really close to the costumes.. And they are much more striking up close than on film

I'd recommend this to any bond fan...

    And it's free!

Only couple of more weeks to go.

Believe it was Belstaff welsh. Though maybe somebody knows differently?

One of the downsides to the exhibit is that the markers simply state which characters you're seeing from which film made by what studio; there are no citations like material, etc. For example, it's very difficult to tell what Eve's ensemble is made of: looks like leather but appears to be a stretch fabric.

While I think everything being shown is genuinely from a Bond film, I have some question as to whether the tux on display is, in fact, from SF: It's clearly black while what's seen on screen is midnight blue; doesn't seem like that's just a trick of lighting and/or film stock.
