Double Bills

In the early 1970s I saw Dr No in the cinema in a double bill with Thunderball and again in a double bill with Goldfinger (Dr. No was the second film to be screened in each case): the double bills gave me my first experiences of these particular films.
I also saw Diamonds Are Forever in a double bill with Gold (a non-Bond film directed by Peter Hunt and starring Roger Moore) and, much later, I saw For Your Eyes Only in a double bill with Moonraker. With these, I'd seen the Bonds on their first release, so the double bills were offering repeat viewings. (I remember being very upset that my parents wouldn't take me to the cinema to see another double bill, Live And Let Die and The Man With The Golden Gun, in about 1975/6. This was on the grounds that I'd "already seen them," an argument which didn't seem relevant to me.)
I'm now thinking of watching my Blu-Ray versions of some of the Bond films in 'double bills' at home, in order to have fun thinking up different pairings and to recapture the excitement of those early cinema experiences. The idea, though, would be to watch a couple of 'mismatched' Bond movies back-to-back in the hope that they might throw each other into some kind of relief, while taking into account superficial links which may connect them, e.g.:
Moonraker/Quantam of Solace (different uses of St Mark's Square in Venice)
The Man With The Golden Gun/Skyfall (Macau as one of the locations)
Live And Let Die/Licence To Kill (David Hedison as Leiter)
Wherever possible I'd prefer at least one in each pair to be a 'John Barry' Bond (although my LLD/LTK double bill doesn't meet this condition).
Any other suggestions?

Critics and material I don't need. I haven't changed my act in 53 years.

Thunderball/The Spy who Loved Me would be a good combo. Epic underwater Bond.
FRWL/TLD Two espionage type Bond thrillers.
For cheese night, Moonraker/A View to a Kill. The "So campy they're kind of good" Bonds.
Casino Royale/Dr. No. The films that started it all in two different generations.
It was a Sunday evening and my parents slept through both...not realising there had been two movies on.
Finally, recently bought an iPad and am obsessed with putting all the Bond movies onto it. This means I have bought then all on VHS, DVD and now electronically. I missed out on the Blue Rays, but have spent enough!!!
Sorry, I missed that previous thread; otherwise I'd have contributed to it rather than starting a new one.
