Young Bond movies?

Having read and loved the Bond novels who reckons they should make them into films?
It's the latest craze at the moment, do you feel they could turn into the latest Hunger Games/Twilight/Harry Potter or flop like the Stormbreaker movie.
I think it could work, with the whole 1930's setting bringing it apart from all the other teen movies. It could set the par of Teen and adult movies if they bring in a good actor to play Bond.
It could also bring in a whole new set of fans to the franchise.
Any one else agree?

An intriguing idea! I'd give it a shot. I love movies set in the 30's and 40's. I love Bond. Why not?
Beg your pardon, forgot to knock...

Maybe a cartoon and call it Young James Bond? Not to be confused with James Bond Jr... or not

I can't see EON letting the Bond name go on a spin-off theatrical film and I don't really want an animated Bond.

But I sure wouldn't mind a David Fincher kind of stylish noir historical fiction film. Maybe it can be Bond-inspired. I'd most like a David Fincher The Girl Who Played with Fire followed by its sequel, and then a David Fincher Bond film.
