Replica .22mm Ammo

Does anyone know where I can source some realistic looking .22mm ammo to go with my AR-7, doesn't have to fit, definitely doesn't have to work, it just needs to look the part?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks but they won't ship outside the US unfortunately.

Mulberry Field seem to do a range of display replica's, but I can't seem to find any contact details for them.

    Any other suggestions?!

I can confirm that later as I got the original and complete SD tubes and resin dummy rounds

If they definately fit the SD tubes I'll get enough for the gun and the case, if you're happy to do this Kan then send me a PM with your Paypal details and hopefully we can sort something out.

    Cheers guys!

Can anyone help with the legality of purchasing vintage inert/decommissioned .22mm lr ammo from a registered antique fire arms dealer in the UK? Does it fall under the same regulations as replica/decommissioned firearms?

Inert ammunition, in whatever calibre can be bought by anyone in the UK.

I'm not sure about import/export laws though.

I've also never seen .22lr sold inert, but there again I've never specifically looked for it.

Cool, I bought some when I was back last month, 30 ICI copper cased, I was assured it was OK, but left all but one shell there just in case, fits the tubes in the SD case perfectly.

When we was kids ,we would go to the site of the local fair ground, (after it went)
and pick up the spent .22 brass cartridge cases, and the glue .22 air rifle pellets in the top
mind you we was only 11 :D
By the way, did I tell you, I was "Mad"?

    :))

I used to empty .22 shells and spark the powder up for kids at the club (fireworks gandalf!).

Btw, it's .22 of an inch, not .22mm, Christ that's be smaller than pinfire! :))

    .22lr is 5.59mm ;)

Ironically the yanks are very picky about import/exporting gun stuff, even mags which are essentially 3 bits of plastic, 6 screws and a spring. You do most damage by chucking them at someone and yet you need export AND import permissions on both sides of the pond to do so.
