    At the end of John Pearson's James Bond: The Authorised Biography of 007, Pearson tells us Bond has been dispatched to Australia where Irma Bunt is experimenting with creating giant rats in the desert. In Raymond Benson's Zero Minus Ten a fair proportion of the novel is set in the Australian desert as well as Hong Kong.

    On New Zealand I draw a blank - it's one of the very few places James Bond's not been!

    Hope that this helps. :)

    I'd say to travel that far the Location ( Australia, New Zealand ) It would have to be a big
    part of the story. Although as Mister Greene said there are so Many locations they have
    never used, It would be nice to see some new places.

    I would welcome a Bond visit down under. Some great scenery, and great contrast in scenery from The Outback, to the big cities, to mountain ranges etc. Offer's numerous possibilities regarding visuals and plot.

    yeah Australia would definitely be a new locale for Bond. It looked great as the setting for MI:2, so i would love to see what Bond could do there.

    I am biased because I am from here but Australia is a great place to shoot.

    The country does whatever is needed. Hugh Jackman's latest film was shot in Parramatta Sydney and they shut down several streets for The Wolverine to be shot in.

    Of course Australia is also Action movie central with massive films such as Mad Max, The Matrix and Mission Impossible 2 being shot here.

    As for a story line I can't think of anything off the top of my head but it wouldn't be hard to write a Bond story down under.

    New Zealand is another great place, and it looks wonderful in LOTR and HOBBIT. Perhaps a mission based around both of them?

    Yes, my records show that James Bond has never been to New Zealand. That's where he should go next, IMHO in a travelogue Daniel Craig James Bond film. -{
