Great collection, I have 3 of the 5.

What's your fave best to last?

    Cheers

Wow on the Aqua Terra. I got to try one on at the NYC store. I wasn't allowed to touch it, only wear it, haha. She seemed very proud to annonce that it was $5.5k. Is that the priciest of the bunch? Got to say, I still love the Blue Seamaster.

    Thanks guys,

The hint was the time on the 8500 PO, that's the newest, got it on Tuesday. I pulled the crowns out just for the picture. The PO is the most expensive out of the lot, $6200.00.

Thanks Paul, believe it or not it's the AT. Close second is the new PO. The PO is thicker than the older movement.

Haha, I hear ya. I've been trying to track down a replica AT for awhile now. I do have the legit Blue Seamaster I got in 2005.
  • mac007mac007 WisconsinPosts: 92MI6 Agent
I'll keep you posted if I can find a AT.

Awesome. Stefan, do you have a favorite?
  • StefanStefan VirginiaPosts: 568MI6 Agent
It's a tough call but I would say the AT, and am saying this while wearing the new PO 8500.

Haha. I thought it was a great watch. I was surprised at how "meaty" it was. I wear the Patek Ryan Gosling wears in Drive everyday and that thing was huge compared to my watch. Awesome face it has.

Impressive. 1 out of 5 here. I wear my Brosnan Seamaster all the time. A great daily wear watch!

For everyone out there on the fence about getting an Omega or settling for an alternative... Pony up and just do It. Find a used one. These are investment pieces that will stand the test of time and you will feel great wearing them!

Yes do as drum007 says ,bite the bullet and go for it,you wont get that return in the bank,
i have a Rolex GMT cost £2k+ 14 years ago just had it valued for purposes for £6k+
also have big planet ocean (steel strap) too heavey, and a fabulous TAG MONACO,
the watches are the cheap part its the servicing /insurance /bi yearly valuations for
the insurance that kills me oh and the safe
By the way, did I tell you, I was "Mad"?

Wow, that is an amazing collection! I am looking around for a new watch and found this. What if Bond had worn an Omega from the start:

That certainly is a nice piece,

Yes I thought so too... Really trying to figure out in what condition it is in and if it is something that I would wear often.

incredible collection, the Aqua Terra is definitely my least favorite watch that Craig has worn, and the black PO is probably my favorite. The blue seamaster ill always see as Pierce's watch.

Funny, I think the Aqua Terra and the QoS Black 42mm PO (not the "Bond" version, the actual PO) are the best watches. The 45mm PO is too big, and I'm not a fan of the new PO watches. The Seamaster is just not my thing.
  • StefanStefan VirginiaPosts: 568MI6 Agent
Granted that the new 8500 PO is not for everyone, but the lume is amazing. And the meaty size for a 42mm make it a nice size without having to go bigger, the 60 hour power reserve is amazing as well.

I fully agree. I bought first Bond watch in 1997, and still wear the SMP 300m diver.

Haha, I would buy it, but I honestly don't even have $5.5k... being an 18 year old college student!
  • StefanStefan VirginiaPosts: 568MI6 Agent
I started buying watches in college, saved all my pennies, and that is what I bought. Always think big.

Haha, man, I don't think I could even justify buying a watch for that much in college! I did get the seamaster when I graduated elementary school, LOL.
  • StefanStefan VirginiaPosts: 568MI6 Agent
I'd say you are already ahead of the curve. :))
