Well somehow I managed to sell enough movie props in a day to get one of these watches... now which one..
I would say the PO, leave the bid dialled Cr with rubber strap. It is a close tie between the PO and the Aqua. The Aqua is too slim and elegant to be a rough sturdy action style watch, I scuba, go climbing, sky dive and work out the PO is a rugged man's watch and still looks elegant enough for when I go out suited up. The Aqua is a very elegant and stylish watch, more suited for going out than anything action orientated (less that action be of the naked kind at which point it is very much suited for such occasion) but if you are an an active kind of person, then PO is for you.
Great point, is that the one in the middle? What's the size on that one? I really am liking that one. I'm sort of sick of leather bands, I love the metal ones. I've been wearing my leather band patek for about 7 months straight now.
seriously: Save up a little more and get a Rolex.
You won't regret it after some time. Pretty sure that Welshie & Asp9mm can confirm that plus many other diehard Bond and watch nuts such as Donald Grant and others...

Do love my 3 Omegas however since I bought a Submariner they never get out of the box. Now im having the "do I or dont I" dilemma of selling them as I have just bought another Rolex and that puts my Omegas further back in the queue, so much in fact that I cant see myself wearing them at all.
I have two POs so one of them is def going (QoS) but the CR Rubber one and CR SMP - arghhhhhhh ?:) The whole DC era Clothing collecting thing is holding me back from selling however im not one to collect for the sake of it and like to use my stuff!!
Watches - stay away from them, dangerous hobby lol -{
I will check both of those out. My uncle is a rolex guy, so I will ask him. I do really like the Omegas.
Stefan, what's the stats on the middle watch? I'll try to see that one tomorrow.
It's basically a replica of the replica custom made one used by Ryan Gosling in Drive. They're identical just missing the second's markings.
Guys, really appreciate the help!
That's one meaty looking watch Welshboy! and haha, duly noted.
On another note if you look in the right places you can get Seamasters and POs (Brosnan, Casino and QoS) used for relatively cheap compared to the new Omegas.
My PO and SMP (minty) combined total was less then the retail of one new Skyfall AT or PO

Wow - one day?? Nice going!!!!
Well 3 are discontinued and only the Skyfall ones are available, however better bang for buck "used" if you know what your doing for the older ones (though im fussy about condition etc myself)

PS - my latest
Congrats Paul on the Deep Sea! The watch is a beast! Also, did you notice that Ben Affleck, rocks the your watch in the movie Argo, great movie but could they not get a period accurate Rolex.
Have not seen Argo yet - will check it out to spot the Beast!!
On a similar note I believe the Deepsea also stars in the Liam Neeson film "unknown" (has a Taken vibe funnily enough). The watch is shown in great detail and the back of the watch is engraved with the date of the gift, however the date pre-dates the Deepseas release by a year or two if I remember rightly lol

Are you referring to the omega in the middle? that's a 42 mm planet ocean from QoS.
Yup! Just like the one in the movie. ) It was a replica in the movie too, so I had to go with a fake too since the real one is not a real watch. It's currently the closest anyone has gotten!
But I'm legit when it comes to Bond stuff!

Must admit I never "charge" mine and the weather down here is too dull also

The 114060 and 116610LN (Ceramic Submariners) are great, my latest love is the black ExplorerII 42mm.
Don't buy a Hulk (116610 LV green bezel, green dial)!
Which Patek do you have?

Cheers
Paul
And also in Unknown...
Funnily enough in Unknown Liam Neeson gives the Deepsea away to a girl but she hands it back and claims its too heavy!!
I believe the new Omega PO Chrono's are also very thick (maybe more??) then the Deepsea?
Brosnan meets Craig...
And what's a James Bond watch collection without Rolex...
Whats your fave out of the lot lol

Here is some information from the site, http://www.omegawatches.com/spirit/jamesbond/omega-and-bond
Without a doubt, the vintage sub, gift from my Dad, which was restored.Timeless!
first we had Sean Connery 50´s Submariner
then George Lazenby 60´s Daytona (or was it pre-Daytona?)
(without the saw).. Roger Moore´s 5513
and Finally Dalton´s 16800
And that's a nasty Patek fake, alphaagent
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
Absolutely stunning and it puts my and Welshies collection into shame
That fist one is that a 6538?
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
Freud would have a field day with that. And it's a 6536 by the looks.... small crown.

LOL ) Thanks, yes a 6536-1
