    Bonnie Tyler - adorable

However the song does not bring out the best out of her imo.
Btw I liked "Blue" a lot 2 yrs ago!

The german entry is an almost 100% copy of "euphoria" which I find pretty pathetic.
They ordered an expertise some weeks ago, which confirmed, that it's not a rippoff, however, listen yourself:

Sadly the UK hasn't a chance of EVER winning the contest again.
    The voting is Crazy. :))

Yes, we used to say this as well.

Indeed. Her hoarse Welsh voice will be musak to their earholes. Verbal GBH of the the earholes, that is. :))

No Jedward representing Ireland at this year's contest. Ryan Dolan is the chosen one. The song is in a similar style to last year's winning song from Sweden (Loreen).

    great song.
But I still think I'll be doing the "Told you so " Dance. :v

Anouk will represent the Netherlands with a song entitled 'Birds' that was first performed in 2011 but never included on a record. Anouk said last year that she wanted to represent the Netherlands with a self-penned song, bypassing the traditional domestic talent contest. Tros television, which stages the event, eventually agreed.

Amandine Bourgeois has been chose to represent France with the song L'Enfer Et Moi. She feels that her participation in the Eurovision Song Contest will be the perfect opportunity to promote her new work. I also enjoyed the Russian grannies, watching them perform just brought a smile to my face.

Judging by what I have seen to date, the more offbeat entrants appear to be in very short supply this year.

Anyone else think Bonnie T has put, erm, just a little bit of weight on??

Looking forward to Eurovision as always, great camp nonesense, but as others have said UK winning again is highly unlikely. Hmmmmm, imagine if we pulled out...the whole thing would die as BBC pays for most of it!!!

    Some interesting choices there.

Quite liked Denmark and Belarus but my favourite was the different entry from The Netherlands.

Surprised Lithuania got through though. Bit dreary.

Can't wait for Thursday and the next round.

I can't wait! My girlfriend and I are hosting a "big gay Eurovision party" with cocktails and cakes!

Everybody says the UK will never win again, but actually it was only a few years ago when we came second! I think we've just been unfortunate with a combination of bad acts (Gemini) and bad luck (poor old Englebert having to go first last year with a song that really didn't suit being first). Keep the faith people!

I am sad that Jedward won't be doing it though, they are incredibly annoying, but Eurovision is just about the only occasion when they really fit the bill!

    Oh well, bring on the fun! -{
