Advice on simple Bond props

Hello all, I am looking for advice on some of the easiest Bond props to build or create. I am not overly artistic or handy, but am looking to get into building some props and wanted to know where a good place to start. If that's not clear, I was thinking of things like the Smiet Smerion caribeaner from TLD or the butterfly hook from AVTAK. I have seen some online and they look really good, I was wondering if anyone had some tips as to get them to look close to what is seen on screen.
