Maybe M Gatiss is trying for a Bond screen writing gig, he is a Bond fan
and has used " The dead body " idea not used in OHMSS. In an previous
Sherlock adventure.
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
I also think in the whole Skyfall / Sherlock looking similar, I'm guessing that there
are only so many places in the underground that you can film in, so many films and
programs will probably have to film in the same places.
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
As always I enjoyed the episode but thought it was very biased towards humor and lacking in
the "detective " part of the story. Although if you go by the books the next story is going to be
more emotional.
I also didn't like that they made out that wedding Photographers are some kind of odd balls. )

I thought it was awful. So far this series has been centred too much on humour, self parody and pure self indulgence. I think it's lost it's way severely. Even the humour is edging towards the wrong side of childish.
Made the very points made by Thurderpussy and Asp 9mm at #142, but I enjoyed this episode in spite of the self-indulgence; made the Holmes-Watson relationship seem quite genuine and human.
HOWEVER, having these daft, nonsense, "let's play around with character and bugger the story" episodes, is fine if you have a long run of episodes in which to lose the "nothing" ones; it's hard to lose "nothing" episodes in a run of just three stories...

Yes, I must admit I thought of you at that point! ) (I trust the next killer turns out to be a bass player)
Seriously, I agree that the humour (very funny though it was) overshadowed the detection and hope that the next one is more grounded.

I didn't find the humour that intrusive...I thought the balance was right for the episode in question...
Oh, don't get me wrong- I loved it and will be buying the DVD (yes, I still haven't converted to Blu-Ray). I just hope that this isn't going to be the overall direction.

I think its a shame they've tried to 'shoehorn' a crime into these two episodes...it didn't actually need one...it was great just seeing John's and Sherlock's story develop...although I would like a return to 'normal' in the next series
+1, I too loved it (sad to think only one more to go and then another 2 or 3 year wait )
Seeing Both lads drunk was Hilarious, along with Sherlock's speech. ) Yes I'll be getting
the Disc of series 3 as soon as it's released. -{

Thought I'd read that "ideally"they'd like to carry on... but it all depended on where their careers took them, and that nothing was down in writing.
Wonder if Moff and Gat would consider recasting? I wonder if the Beeb would consider recasting (and bringing in new producers) if they refused; huge earner for Auntie, SHERLOCK, I understand?

I think they will find a way to fit this in to their schedules...may not be every year though...I doubt a re-cast would work as well just yet...
Can't see a recasting ever working, for the moment the two lads are Holmes and Watson. )
They have both express opinions that they both wanted to keep doing Sherlock, so we can
only hope their other work doesn't keep them away.

And don't forget that both Gatiss and Moffat are busy with Doctor Who - that takes nine months to film and IS every year...but I can't see Sherlock ending just yet...

His Luficer Box stuff - particularly BLACK BUTTERFLY - is very good
he'd do a wonderful job with it.
Tuning in today?

Unlike an American series with perhaps 22 episodes a run.

It's that thing you spend all your money on
Will you be giving the answer, as to who we should look out for.

Great news -{ for Sherlock fans.
Because without their commitment, series 4 and 5 are just ideas in Moffat and Gatiss' heads still, I would have thought?

There is also free porn:
1. It's called a girlfriend or a wife
2. or it's also on the net. Usually the 2nd one is the better one
