The Richie Fahey covers that Penguin published in the early 2000s were very nice, I have the UK set that was printed a few years later with those covers.
My favourite paperback covers are the earlier Pan ones with painted artworks, especially those by Sam Peffer.
I also really like the later Raymond Hawkey designed series.
The ultimate covers though are the first editions with artwork by Richard Chopping.
I agree on every count:
1) Jonathan Cape UK First Editions (especially the Chopping Covers)
2)Raymond Hawkey for PAN - ground breaking designs (also loved his Deighton covers).
3)Richard Fahey for Penguin - great retro covers.
This is a Dutch set, got one myself and it's really nice. It's just that the front of the individual books themselves is a bit boring. A new set which one is absolutely stunning, is the Folio Society collection. Right now it only includes CR and FRWL. I'm hoping for more soon!

Not one of his best Books, has a few moments as always but I can't understand why Bond seems to
get so friendly with a stupid Hood ?
with many similar characters and plots.
As far as the covers go, I do like how for the Hadrback covers they continued the "Fleming" style of artwork.
My fav hardback
My fav paperback
I don't have the hardback of Cold either and I feel that the price would be prohibitive.
Yes, I thought as much.
There was only about 900 copies printed in hardback - which something like 500 went as library copies - which leaves 400 genuine first editions...
Lucky then that Sir Miles has a copy! -{
Check it's not a library copy....
