I made this right after the new CR came out. I'd be glade to email it to whoever wants it.
It may only work if you use itunes though..
Just let me know
PM me.
what is the tone? I'm always interested in stuff like this
I purchased the DC Casino Royal soundtrack from itunes ''The names Bond, James Bond'' then made it into a 26 sec ring tone. Very cool! It will load right into your itune tones.
I'll send it to anyone who wants it, just let me know via email.

I am having trouble with the convertor. However, working on an alternative plan. Give me a day or so.
Gatsby, sent you a reply email.
Thunderbird 2,
Yes It was made with an apple itunes app.
Your idea starting from scratch is the right way to go for non mac users.
Buy the track then back up the track 26 seconds from the end fade out..

Hi all,
a non mac user copy of the ringtone has now been issued to Mrgatsby, so please PM him. Enjoy! -{
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?
I have Skyfall as my ringtone.
It's not too difficult to make ringtones. It's been a while since I've done one so I'll have a go later to remind myself. I quite fancied having the chime then 'Moonraker 5 ready to launch' as a ringtone.
I'll put down instructions for you all.

1. So if you want a audio from a DVD use a program called Audacity to record in bit of sound you want.
2. Open iTunes. Add you file to the library. Then in top left corner click on icon. Open preferences. Click IMPORT SETTINGS.
Change IMPORT USING to ACC Encoder.
3. Then right click on your track in itunes select CREATE ACC
4. Find the ACC version of your track and drag to desktop.
5. Now you need to change the file extension of the file from .m4a to .m4r this will make it a ringtone.
To change file extensions watch this video. It's dead easy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSk4zoRbbCQ
6.Delete the other versions in itunes and then drag the .m4r file from your desk into itunes.
7. Plug in your phone. Go to Tones and tick the box on your new ringtone.
Bondtoys,
I have now sent you the mp3 version created by Thunderbird 2, It seems to work for everybody!
Turns out the problem is you cannot email an itunes ringtone once converted to m4r to non mac users which is the form I had it in.
It can now be emailed without any problems to everyone!

Hi guys. I've just downloaded the .m4r version at it says:
"This computer is not authorized to play "The names Bond...James Bond" would you like to authorize it? "
It asks for a password and says someones email. (I've blanked a few letters for security) r***dng@mac.com
I think the ringtone is linked to someones iTunes account and not open I think.

I sent it to people that are all Mac/iphone's with no problems, but we may need someone knowledgeable to help with the PC crowd..
I might be able to help there. (No promises!) Sending you a PM.
Thunderbird,
Let us know if you can convert it!
