I found this video on Youtube and was wondering if any of you have ever done a Bond tour? So hunted down film locations etc. If any of you have where was it and what locations did you see? I'm just being nosey really :))

    I've never 'done a Bond tour' but I've actually been to everywhere mention in the video! Most of them are pretty easily done in a trip to London whether it be to see Bond locations or not. -{

I've never done one but I find it interesting.

I'd love to stay at some of the hotels seen in the films though. How cool would it be to be in the same suite Bond was in X movie? You'd be spending a lot but the cool factor would be worth it.

I've never done the whole touristy thing in London but I want to and I'd probably be more excited about seeing locations like that than the London Eye and the Palace! haha

The closest I have come to this was sort of emulating the boat chase from TWINE on land.
Back in 2001 friends of mine were moving their narrow boat from The Canary Wharf area, up the Thames to Reading. I was asked to go with them and partially travel by mountain bike, so I could shoot photos of the boat underway on the water. It was bit of an adrenalin rush, cycling through the busy capital without a map reference, chasing past places like the Houses of Parliament, going over the Battersea Bridge, and of course the Vauxhall Building. I got some nice shots too, but I remember hearing the Boat chase and Ice Bandits themes from TWINE in my head as I instinctively raced along streets and alleyways in London.

Not a Bond tour, but it did feel like a Bond experience in a modest way!
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?

I've been to London many times as I have family there and the first time I went it was all about the main touristy places but after you've done them and seen them then the thrill is gone - one hit wonders so to speak. However every time I'm there I'll make the effort to check out the Bond locations because they never get old! The OHMSS photo shoot location being my favourite cause you can strike the pose! And the DAD door is 2 minutes away from there too.

Ahh cool. Don't know whether it being in Kent was a coincidence or not but to paraphrase Bond, the names Kent, I don't live anywhere near it haha

Well, the wife and I had a wonderful boozy lunch at this little place today , for the first time in 5 years :) I drive past the area regularly , but rarely have time to stop.
I'm fortunate to live in the very birthplace of Bond .............I just need to stop and smell the roses more often perhaps :)

I just spent a week in San Fran and picked up a few AVTAK locations: Fisherman's Warf, City Hall, GG Bridge, ate quiche, saw a ladder truck. Wanted to visit Stacy's house in oakland, but there's no tours during the winter months.

I was at locations #1-3 in the posted video in January when I visited London on business. Got the traditional Lazenby shot :)

3 days later I was in Paris, again on business, and did Eiffel Tower (AVTAK). Didn't get to go into the Jules Verne restaurant, but pretty much saw everything else in the tower.

Going to Vegas this fall and will try to see some DAF sites.

I was in San Francisco this weekend and while there I made it a point to drive past City Hall and Fisherman's Wharf just because they were featured in a Bond film.

An old girlfriend once made some crab paste sandwiches, they tasted awful. I asked
From what fushmongers she'd bought it, " I got it from the chemist " she replied. :))

You should fill a few hundred small bottles with water and market them as, water
From the pool D Craig swam in for sky fall, in a range if different labels. You know
what these collectors are like. :))
