Looking for a Billy Reid Bond Peacoat size Small

Promised my son one of these if he got decent results in his upcoming GCSE's.
That was before I realised that they were so damn difficult to come by

If anyone's got a small Bond Peacoat they'd be willing to sell, (preferably UK based to keep the postage costs down), then please contact me.

Not hard to come by, just a bit of a wait. Back orders for July delivery on the BR website - just in time for August GCSE results.

Yeah had spotted that and that might be my only option, but the import tax and delivery charges make it a pretty expensive way to buy (almost $1000).
They'd better be bloody good results!

Do you think they will ever end the production of the coat? Because I asked them about 3 months ago how long will it be still available, and a BR representative told me back then that "about a month or something". Now we have March and it's still in production... I just want the coat so badly, but I will have the money for it probably by the end of July

+1 It's probably a little late in the game to try to buy one off of someone. A lot of people who bought two and sold one (or sold their only one) probably did so months ago. Buying directly from BR is probably the most easy option. Still, they're back-ordered to July. Most people won't get much use out of them from July-November, so if it was me, I'd probably just wait it out to see if a discounted one popped up on Ebay during the summer. If your son was hoping to wear it this winter, good luck.

A few months ago, someone posted in the big BR Peacoat thread that a BR rep. said that this coat would become an indefinite part of the catalog. Since it's not as limited as people thought that it would be, I expect to see them pop up on Ebay when the Skyfall hoopla dies down later this year and the impulse-buyers realize that they need money to buy something else.

Funny, we have a Billy Reid store here in TN. I walked in one day and talked to cute girl who happens to work in their corporate office. She was there to oversee an event. I don't know if there is any truth to this but she did mention that they were able to secure more fabric (hench the extended run) but because of the demand (even now), they are starting to run low.
