hey all, been lurkin here for a while for no other reason than not having much to add to the discussions. \

i was interested in purchasing the billy reid peacoat in Large but i see that they are backordered till the summer. if anyone has one willing to sell i am in the NYC area. thanks in advance

lol...good luck. Most of them have probably already been posted and sold. Check ebay regularly. Winters over. You may be better off just waiting it out until later in the year and looking for discounted ones on ebay.

saw one on ebay going for over 1k the other night at starting bid.

do you you think the billyreid site will have these available for much longer?

As far as I know, they're going to be available indefinitely on the BR website. As far as ebay goes, don't buy now. The Skyfall craze is still going. If you order through BR, you probably won't get the coat until July/August. By then, the Skyfall craze will probably have died down a bit, and you may be able to find one one Ebay for a discount because people will need money to make their next impulse purchase. If I didn't have one, I'd probably wait it out, but go with your gut.
