Yes...over 3 consecutive weeks...but there is no 'season start' as such...that's more of a US thing than a UK thing...they show them when they've made them

Interesting. Here, if I correctly remember from school, TV seasons came about to schedule viewing availability of most people with the consideration that there's less TV viewing during our summer, but now that's been further tweaked to account of low viewership during the winter holidays and even during the months of sports championship finals, so there's the splitting of a season into 2 parts, or even mulitple seasons in a year. Big business is a big influence on life here.

"...the purposeful slant of his striding figure looked dangerous, as if he was making quickly for something bad that was happening further down the street." -SMERSH on 007 dossier photo, Ch. 6 FRWL.....
I really like BC and think he could have made an interesting Bond but I do think he's already too well known and will be even bigger by time Craig is ready to hand over the role.
All I know is that after the left of field casting of Craig, I wouldn't rule anyone out for the Bond role now.
He'd play a good Bond - retro, set in the fifties and kept close to the books. Id love to see a series of 60 or 90 minute dramas like this. I could see him driving up Drax's driveway in his Bentley or playing chemen de fer in a smoky French casino.

Indeed. A period piece of Moonraker would be most excellent! -{

I would love to see someone tackle the Novel Version of Drax, with his psychotic Rant near the end directed at Bond and Gala.

Brian Blessed would make a great Sir Hugo 'Hugger' Drax - the voracious bombast and loudmouth would be him down to a tee, plus he's got the rough beard! -{
