For Sale: Casino Royale/Goldfinger 3 Piece Suit

'Royale Goldfinger' 3 Piece Suit 44XLT

For sale is my rarely worn and very nice Royale/Goldfinger 3 piece suit. I had it commissioned by Magnoli and due to a change in career direction do not need quite the formal wardrobe. Its a bit of 'hybrid' suit as I've combined a few of the details from the Connery Goldfinger suit along with Craigs Royale one...in the end it is a very nice, well constructed solid heavier weight suit.

I've included as many of the details of the suit as I can recall and am able to determine below:

Overall Suit Size 44XLT - Fantastic for the taller Bond
Material: heavier weight super 120s wool

Jacket:
Full canvas construction, holds it shape very well
Working surgeons cuffs, 4 buttons
'rolled' 3 button jacket
3 front pockets (extra ticket pocket)
Side Vents
3 internal pockets
Measurements:
Top shoulder to cuff 29.5'
under arm to cuff 19.5'
Back length 36.25'
Shoulder measurement 19.75'

Trousers:
Waist 36'
Inseam 34.5'
Side tab adjusters with 2 adjusting options
Dual tab front enclosure
Single pleat
Straight Cuff
2 front pockets
1 rear pocket with button

Waistcoat
6 buttons
2 front pockets (no flaps)
thin lapels ala Goldfinger
Back length 24.5'
Widest measurement: armpit to armpit 20.5'

I've included several pictures of the suit below....please note the actual color is a dark navy blue with subtle blue pinstripes. As mentioned above its a heavier weight suit, but not oppressively so. I've worn this 2 or 3 times in the years I've had it and its remained well cared for while not in use. I've no doubt this will make someone very happy to own, and wear for many years forward.

How do you know that it's full-canvassed? I was under the impression that Magnoli wasn't full-canvassed.

I requested that it be made that way.

Its actually on the bay as it is....was hoping someone might want it on this board whose a James Bond fan.
Plus I've discounted it further from what its listed there. I've also learned that as the price drops eventually someone snags said item.

Two hundred and something dollars for a Magnoli suit is not bad at all.

Thanks !! I figured it might be appealing to someone at that price point.

I'll even throw in a 'Connery' style shirt to go with it: turn back cuffs, wide spread collar, pique style cotton.....very nice feel and look to complement the ensemble. This was by made by Magnoli using one of his finest cottons at the time. Not quite Sea Island, but a very nice material.

So shirt and suit for $285 !!

I don't think price is your problem. It's finding someone that tall. With a back length over 36" you must be close to 7' tall!
