Thanks but that's the first place I checked... :D

Mr Porter has several models but they all are lined with rabbit fur, cashmere etc.

Oops!! Sorry, should've checked the sizing order first. But I don't think you'll get those gloves anywhere else. Have you tried calling them or emailing them?

Just a thought question. Isn't it bad to have unlined gloves since your hands will sweat and there is nothing to collect it?
  • Bond-on-a-BudgetBond-on-a-Budget ChicagoPosts: 101MI6 Agent
That's a good question, personally I've never owned unlined gloves; I like the Dents design, simple and slick I'm sure they feel nice and tight with better grip and possibly with more tactile sensitivity than regular lined gloves it's what makes them perfect for shooting and for hand to hand combat scenes maybe...
Will have to ask DC if after the Shanghai scene they smelled or perhaps The Mantis can offer some insight?!?!?

If your hands sweat while wearing gloves..... you take them off. I've never had a problem with sweat in gloves. I wear them when it's cold out :D Lining in gloves is there to add additional insulation, not to collect sweat.

The texture on the inside of Dents gloves is really luxurious next to the skin.

I want to feel that luxurious sensation

I've emailed Dents asking if they are going to restock the Small size

I have received a very fast reply from Dents:

"Thank you for your email. Yes we are getting the James Bond Gloves back in small about 3 - 4 weeks, as soon as they arrive they will be back on our website.
    Kind Regards

Are they making the gloves outside the U.K.?

    Hey,

Interesting topic, thanks for sharing. I definitely want to get a pair, they'll go perfect with the billy reid peacoat I ordered!

leather gloves are considerably iconic in the bond series. Off the top of my head, bond also wears them in (possibly a different brand)

    1) tomorrow never does opening

2 living daylights Aston Martin driving scene

    3) ohmss skiing scene (look screen accurate, at least on the VHS cover art)

    4) world is not enough skiing scene

    5) quantum of solace Kazan scene

    6) live and let die New York scenes

    7) the spy who loved me navy outfit (walking outside)?

Can anyone identify the brand(s) worn in these movies? Who thinks they're dents?

The "QoS" gloves were made by Tom Ford. I believe a few members here own them and can chime in on the style #.

    Kind regards,

I just bought these from Dent's Men's Touchscreen Technology Hairsheep Gloves.

I live in a tropical location and am traveling to cold locations for several weeks. Thought this would be a great compromise between the unlined Skyfall and heavier gloves.
I love the Dents "Bond" connection and am still holding out hope we will see their brand associated with Spectre.

You can also buy a liquid that will turn any leather glove into touch screen glove. I'll have to dig the bottle out but use it on my MTB and mountaineering gloves. Works a treat, darkens lighter gloves but is spot on for black.

I saw these on the Dents' website only yesterday. They look very much like the Skyfall gloves while being cheaper and being available in brown.

For everyone having a TK Maxx store, they have currently Dents gloves for a ridiculous price of around 15$ (not any screen accurate models however). I got myself a pair of Dents one year ago in TK similar to the one from QoS for like 30$, definitely worth it!

(at least here in Poland they have them on sale - for 50zł to be exact, probably because the company is not known at all in our country)

That sounds good, I've not seen that before, do you recall what it's called ??

My local TK Maxx stores usually carry a few Dent's gloves...so they should be in them all...

Anyglove. There are two types, one for any type of glove and one for leather only. It's available on Amazon.

many thanks will check that out now

Yep thats it. Great stuff if you keep your gloves as long as I do though you might need to apply it again. Now if I could just get touch ID though my gloves lol.

Yes TKmaxx here in Aberdeen has had some, but I think they may be seconds as the ones I tried on seem to have sizing inconstancies between the hands.
