Hey ASP that looks like a really cool .50 coat hook, if that's what it is. I've seen the bottle openers and keep meaning to pick one up. Is that a .50 blank or a frangible?

I played with a Barrett a couple of years ago out to 600m, hardly any recoil due to the engineering but the blast effect is like a grenade going off in your face every round, worse if you're spotting to one side due to the design of the muzzle brake.

Barrett is OK but I still prefer belt fed GMG much bigger bang at the other end! B-)

This is turning into a 'My winkies bigger than your winkie thread now' back on topic nice Walther P99 and great they made these special Ed's just a shame we cannot use them in the UK anymore the few having spoilt it for the fewer (but personally still prefer the PPK or my trusted Browning HP from the good old days call me a traditionalist) :))

    Cheers

Very nice gun,to shot with 2 hands ( this is my thinking ).Shortly after I bought it, the model was withdrawn, for a mistake they told me in the Armory. Before being sold again, was produced this model 007.

And for ASP9mm....where are the guns?...meh

My apologies. But I seem to have misplaced mine somewhere :v

Now on the live firing versions we have two variations original the Series I HMSS (MI6) was never officially announced nor shown on Walther's German website, and it was exclusively imported by Earl's in the US in 1999.

The Series II James Bond edition, as it was originally listed on Walther's site was very quickly withdrawn due to EON finding out and Walther not seeking permission to use the Bond name and number. None of these were ever for sale in the USA, and very few available in Europe. The full THOUSAND run was definitely never reached. Earl did in fact privately import a few of them, and they slowly trickled out onto the market. Like the original Series I, the majority seem to be in .40 S&W with the 9mm versions being much rarer.

    Series I -

    Series II

The Series II was for sale in the US I own one in .40 cal and I have had my hands on 4 others.

pffft, having met him in person, I am starting to understand his fixation for overdimensioned tubes :D
Is there a way to have a weapon, holsters and snake-poison only section so that I am not always bothered to read all his **** in the good AJB sections? 8-)

I second Sir Miles notion but could there not be a Major Crap Timepiece section? :D

Indeed. A few pistols can get you into an aircraft at Fairford. May even get you fueled and into the air before the boys from Hereford arrive. But after that probably won't help you much more than the Breitling when a couple of Typhoons swing alongside. :o

Been on plenty of aircraft with a pistol, also rifles and SMGs ;) at Fairford my uniform gets me on board most, doesn't let me into the Breitling enclosure for coffee though 8-)

I bought one of these about 11-12 years ago when I used to go to the collectors fairs, it was in Westminster and the dealer selling it wanted £350, think I ended up getting it for about £300, it had what looked like a brass spring down the barrel and came with what looked like an extra short silencer that apparently was used to fire flairs.

I sold it, along with the rest of my Bond collection to Forbidden Planet in St Martins lane for peanuts as I was a bit strapped for cash, probably the biggest regret I have, no actually second biggest regret, first was getting married again.

Sounds like you had the PAK version. Not anywhere near as collectible as the practical version in 9mm and .40S&W They butchered if for the British market.
