Golden Gun Question

I have had this item in my collection for some years now, purchased from the Bay of E.
I am trying to find out more information about it as there is no makers mark.
It comprises of a working lighter, middle section is solid resin and the pen appears to be green under the gold spray.
Any information would be much appreciated.

Nice as a novelty item :D The pen is almost definitely an early Ball Pentel which were all green casings with the ink colour designated by the body end cap.

Yeah I'd happily take that to a party, but certainly not an FE or SD.

Dunhill based some of their lighters on items seen in movies, my personal favourite is the Maltese Falcon table lighter.
Probably the rarest of all is the Ruby slippers cigar lighter and cutter combination from the Wizard of Oz

The green pen that makes the gun barrel up looks like one of those red plastic Berol handwriting pens.

He did in fact say that. It remains true. No need for a parrot, even a late one. 8-) He doesn't get it. ;)

Ha! Ha! I see what you did there and it would be remiss of me now to hit you in the face with a cricket bat! THUD! :))

Only joking...it's a line from the superlative Monkeydust, circa 2003. :)
