TF108 looked the best on Craig. Persol make better sunglasses than Tom Ford no doubt but the ones in Casino Royale were a poor effort. I agree - the 714 is the one if you go Persol. The TF108 will always be timeless for me and they are Craig's sunglasses. They will always be associated with him. Anyway given the choice of any sunglasses in the world then it's Loro Piana hands down. Just purchased my first pair and they are far superior then anything else I've ever seen.

Would be amazing if they were Persol 714 but I have a strange feeling it's a Tom Ford variant. Would be amazing to see Persol in Spectre. I recently bought the 714 model and they are timeless.

Ive not used them for TF, but my buddy has and says they are reputable. Also run a major optician outlet so should be fine. Do returns too if in doubt when you get them...

The pics of the snowdons looks like the 05b lens there is a gradation in colour. But from the bond pics it seems that the lens are just plain black (as in real black) wanted to know if the 05b have the same effect when worn.

On the Morocco glasses, and just in order to have all information available in this thread: both Mantis and hthomas have been unofficially informed by their main Tom Ford contact that the model is the Tom Ford Henry, code no. FT0248, color 52A (Dark Havana / Dark Grey). Still unconfirmed, but possibly worth checking them out...
