Before anyone else jumps on Matt's back, and always shaken you should know this anyway

    *Nymphalis polychloros OHMSS
    *Carcharodon carcharias LTK
    *Pterois volitans TSWLM

I believe the term is irony, or is that what I need to get the missus performing tonight :D

yes possibly irony, but the statement was posed as (i have narrowed down the species of scorpion)
as i made a remark on item 17 regarding yellow rubber scorpions as shown on Bonda arm
with the glass in question,so i was only replying to Matts origanal qoute
but appologise if any body took my reply the wrong way i didnt mean to offend
sorry Matt lots of love AGENT (PAPIO) Always shaken
By the way, did I tell you, I was "Mad"?

Check out page 38 of Cinefex Magazine # 133 to see what was really on Daniel Craig's hand while filming the scorpion scene. Article mentions the scorpion, but not what species it was except it was yellow-white.

    1. I dunno. The 10 and not 8.5 ounce seems better compared to DC's hand. I ordered one and will let you know.

    2. Each of the Latin animal names was spoken by Bond in those movies. Just having fun while I was working up another two dozen pages of trivia for the Bond cruise this week!

    3. I ordered a Deathstalker model yesterday and it's fairly similar. Yes.

    4. Not offended in any way. Just having fun. There are scorpion experts online who will identify a species for free if anyone was to direct them here or send them some images...

    Hi guys,
this week I've acquired a realy cheap Skyfall prop. The glass at the scorpion bar, from which Bond has taken his drink with the scorpion on his hand is a Picardie (22 cl or 25 cl) from the french manufacturer Duralex.

On the following screenshot (from "shadow of reflection“) you can only guess that it is a Duralex glass, but you can see and read the brand very good on the Skyfall blu-ray.

You can find this glass in some well-graded hardware stores or in liquor stores near you and of course at amazon or ebay for approx. § 20 for a set of six.

I have both the 8.75 oz and the 10.5 oz glasses and the 10.5 oz glasses look to be the correct size to me.

Same glass that Bond drinks from in the opening of "Quantum of Solace" as well, I believe. 2 reasons to pick up some of these. :)

The 10oz definitely look more the right size. I have the 8.75 ounce ones and they're smaller than what he's holding.

so the 10.5 oz is the most accurate if not the one hes using?
  • walther p99walther p99 NJPosts: 3,416MI6 Agent
It looks like Bond uses the 12oz as well.
