I watched Dr No yesterday evening again (first time on bluray) and realised that the gun Bond is using to kill Prof Dent is not his new Walther PPK but some othe model. Is there a reason why he isn't using his new standard gun or ist it just a mistake of the production outfitters?

it was a FN 1910 pistol Bond used to kill Dent. This gun was used because the prop department couldn't find a silencer to fit the PPK.
