FE dual signature golden gun

Gentlemen,

I would like to inquire what a feasonable selling price would be for a FE dual signature golden gun.
In addition, I would like to inquire what an SD version would cost and where I would acquire such a model.

In hindsight of my FE purchase, I like the more subtle looks of the SD better.

Best regards,
Pistols

It's worth whatever anyone wants to pay, I'd put it on evilbay with a reserve so you're not disappointed.

As for SD prices, as the boxes alone have gone for more than £800, I'd say £1500 at least.

Hello Geff, thank you for your quick response to my post. I noticed you've sold yours to someone on this forum.
I'm not a fan of eBay, nor am I looking to cash in ... I'd rather sell to a fellow collector who will display the piece.
I haven't seen the SD for sale much on the Internet, so my guess is that they are rarely sold these days.
Do you own one? I think it's a beautiful rendition that captures the 70's era very well.

No I'm afraid I don't own one, but they are nice pieces. Ajb has its expert on gg's, hopefully he'll offer his advice.

Hi there, I do track the golden gun prices so should be able to help. The market was flat around 12 to 18 months ago and factory entertainment still had them for sale on ebay and their website at around £300.00 for the standard and £400.00 for the dual signature. As soon as they were all sold out the prices started to creep up. A few private ones sold on ebay at around £500.00 and suddenly some new ones appeared on ebay that people had bought from factory entertainment and stored for resale, they put buy it now prices on at around £700 to £800.00 which seemed excessive. Since then prices have been rising and a standard ones do fetch around £500 to £600.00 and the dual signatures are fetching around £700.00 to £800.00. One on ebay last week sold off ebay for £850.00 with box and everything included. I would of thought anywhere around £750.00 to £850.00 is about right. Hope that helps.

Hi Boffer, thank you very much for your elaborate reply.
Wow ... I didn't know these sell for much more than the original price.
May I ask what the reason is for tracking the prices? Do you have one and plan to sell it?

Hi Pistols, I do have one but my problem is that I dont like selling unless totally necessary so I will just keep mine until I am old and grey. I just keep track of prices as I like surfing ebay thats all. Of course its hard to say when a market has peaked but i think if you bought it for around 400 or 500 and its now nearer 850.00 it might be a good idea to sell, but you never know, in 5 years they could be 2K each !!
